the car was supercharged and had a bypass valve, hence the flutter.
the car was actually a monster, but the video was no where near wide open throttle, and the car needed a tune when this was filmed.

You heard the bypass valve fluttering, the car was supercharged.
It used an ASA Supercharger, which is essentially a belt driven turbo, hence the similar sound.
I can assure you the car was quick, for reference, the camera car was doing 80+ mph, 4th gear was good for 138mph - good times
