you know, this is such a good movie, but i would see it only if they had a version with CORRECT english subtitles! i mean, seriously now! i was watching the original with a friend who "understood" spanish, but im pretty sure he gave me the wrong translation! NOTHING MADE SENSE!!!! XD haha lol whatever, lets just hope they have enough common sense to put subtitles as a feature for those who might not understand spanish......

I've not seen the remake (Quarantine is it called?). To be honest, I don't think it needed translation too much; regardless of the language or culture differences the dark is scary as hell and when people are talking over each other and scared as hell it sounds the same in almost any language.

Still, if it gets more people interested in the original I'm all for it. :)

Looking forward to this sequel alot. Wonder who'll be pressing [record] this time. NBC kit issues soldier?

well you probably heard this before, but they're technically not zombies...they're not dead. They are infected with a virus, 28 days/weeks later was a rage virus. In this movie it was an advanced form of rabies. zombies die from a shot in the head or can be stopped by severing the spinal chord, these guys can die just like any normal living human being.

ahhh I see so they are technically not undead, undeads. Infected people who can die from normal causes. But that doesn't explain the ammount of loss blood and ferocity of the people, but well a zombie movie is still a zombie movie

well the ferocity is from the rabies virus they contract in this movie, in 28 days/weeks later its because of the rage virus. There are diseases like ebola that can make people bleed from their mouths, ears and eyes it's very freaky. But no they arent technically zombies though I suppose calling them that wouldn't be entirely inappropriate. But they are technically known as "the infected."
