Even if it is, I guess I was actually talking about you only hearing that song at Madison Square Garden (among the 30 NHL arenas). For all intents and purposes, the Rangers' goal song is original to MSG because no other arena in the NHL plays this song when the home team scores.

On that note, I really think each teams needs its own individual goal song. You go to all the arenas in the NHL and you basically hear the same two or three songs..Get some originality for God's Sake!!!!
