The disembodied arm bursting from people's torsos looks scary. It's colored as if decomposing or gangrenous. Low poly modeling and twitchy movement puts the Augmented Reality T-shirt squarely in the uncanny valley and adding a child's voice it relates more to Japanese horror movies. The jazzy muzac in the background just makes it more ludicrous. This an instance where a clearly stylized cartoon arm would have been more appropriate.
