Well, the reporter had a valid question regarding why the train can't be driven that same day. The train is fine. There's no actual reason why the train can't continue operating. Just because a person is dead does not mean that the train cannot be driven.
@MsEmpirical people would be uncomfortable riding in the train the same day. While physically they CAN do it, it wouldn't be very polite to the friends and family of the dead person...
I was really into trains when I was a boy. Once I was riding the train with my family, and the train made an unexpected stop. My Mom told me that the train had run over a man, who had committed suicide. My immediate reaction was concern for the TRAIN. I was worried about whether it had been damaged, and whether they'd be able to properly clean it. Suffice to say I was more into trains than HUMAN LIFE !!!

Well, the reporter had a valid question regarding why the train can't be driven that same day. The train is fine. There's no actual reason why the train can't continue operating. Just because a person is dead does not mean that the train cannot be driven.

@MsEmpirical people would be uncomfortable riding in the train the same day. While physically they CAN do it, it wouldn't be very polite to the friends and family of the dead person...

I was really into trains when I was a boy. Once I was riding the train with my family, and the train made an unexpected stop. My Mom told me that the train had run over a man, who had committed suicide. My immediate reaction was concern for the TRAIN. I was worried about whether it had been damaged, and whether they'd be able to properly clean it. Suffice to say I was more into trains than HUMAN LIFE !!!
Anyway this is hilarious, but it also hit home for me :)

As someone with mild autism, I thought this was hilarious! This was obviously written by someone who has a child with autism. I was exactly like this when I was a toddler. I was just as obsessed with trains.
