I liked the new Knight Rider but they should not have had a mustang (witch are a dime a dozen) maybe a newer gen firebird or had the company that turns new Camaros into Pontiac Firebirds build them one. the show may have lasted longer if they stuck to the same idea of the original Knight Rider

Why must you replace the ORIGINAL Knight Rider when in SPM, KITT goes all-out. The Mustang doesn't.

I love mustangs, but its ridiculous to replace a original show with a totally changed storyline with a new car, new characters, I hope they the original one get another story writer and continue the show!

@drift719 it did. the new show was a sequel to the original show. Mike Knight was the son of Michael Knight. Hassleoff even makes a cameo as Michael. i dont like the new mustangs we had Pontiac Trans Am as KITT they should have got another Pontiac something from General Motors
