I know Samara was not a full romance option in the game, but does Liara mention her at all if you choose to let Samara know how you feel? (I'm talking about the conversation you can have with her when your paragon is maxed.) She says "In another time. Another life".

I wonder, does that really mean.... in another game? Perhaps Mass Effect 3?

I really hope so because I find Samara and Thane to be the most interesting characters. Liara is just too.....naive... for me anyway.

@danitiwa Shepard's always had real emotions, just he's never openly showed weakness, of a sense. One of my Shepard's answered with the 'Yeah, I'm good' response. Another, a more tactfully minded one had looked at the odds and admitted just how horrible it looked.

It is nice, though, that you get to glimpse a small bit of unsure courage from Shepard. That he knows it more than likely will end bad, but he has to do it anyway, for the good of the galaxy. At least, that's how my Shepard felt.

@danitiwa I get what you mean and i understand that someone wants that, but Shepard IS a commander. They are not made to break apart until after everything is done. They don't matter when much is at stake, and they act calm to keep morale up. Maybe I've just read to many fantasy books with a lot of war in it. That's how i perceive it. But i get what you mean.
