@fasterplastercaster - Yeah they sure did. I wish they did still. According to Wikipedia, Ori Kaplan was the sax player in Gogol Bordello, and he left the band several years ago. I guess that explains why there's no sax on their newer albums.

Bordello doesn`t mean brother.Bordello means brothel and the word Bordello is used in Italian and related to the word Bordell in German.I think it is used- in this form or variations of it- in many languages.

And the connection to Gogol is that the band likes the writings of Gogol(or so I`ve heard, at least Eugene Hutz does).Plus, there is the rumour that Nikolai Gogol never had sex in his life which makes the combination of these nouns quite interesting and many interpretations are possible.
