If you haven't seen this film, go rent it, order it from Amazon, borrow it from your local library, do whatever you have to, to see it in its entirety. It is one of the most visually stunning films ever made. Every shot is a work of art. Everything about it is brilliant.

Who did the music? Sounds like a John Zorn composition. The feel is lovely as much as the images are arresting. Relentless symbols; beautiful.

It does sound like Zorn's work, but I believe it's by Leszek Jankowski (or Lech Jankowski for short), who had worked with the Quay brothers before.

I own a brothers quay collection DVD, but i dont understand if they were made recently or long ago. They seem so creepy and demented. They even have poor quality sound and video. Like

Don't understand? Did you BUY the DVD? On the back of the box it tells you the year each of the shorts was released (from "The Cabinet of Jan Svankmajer" [1984] to "Can't Go Wrong Without you (Stille Nacht IV)" [1993]
