  • these are beautiful.....they should be published. very touching and telling.

my dad served in ww2 on the uss millicoma, loved brazil.

  • hey that was a nice video.

Do you know if your dad ever mentioned visiting the island Of American Samoa?

cause the drawings look like it...

  • My father served on tankers, and visited those ports many times. Like your father, he must have lived through attacks by U-boats and Kamikaze bombers, but never talked about it.

I was an airborne soldier, and I know that you don't fight for "freedom" or "democracy" or any of the politicians' bullshit, you really fight because you know that if you fuck up, precious mates like Shorty and Harkey are going to die.

I hope, one day, your father will let me share a toast with him in Valhalla.

  • I share your insight and got a bit tear-y by your comment. Thanks for filling in spaces that should not be left out.

  • My dad was also in the WWll European theatre of war; your dads drawings illustrate the stories i have heard all of my life.

    "War is Hell"

Your dad's art work is beautiful

God Bless our dads and all of the service people that know defending our way of life first hand.

  • This is a great tribute to your dad, may he rest in peace. Thanks for assembling this montage for us...Jeff
