Lmao!! loved it mate. :) me and my son are building some now to help save the world,... i just hope the earth doesnt stop spinning on his birthday..... that'll cost me a fortune. :D
We need more 'propulsion units' !!! Especially in the UK where they really 'wind' up the 'stuck in the past' landed gentry types who think that they are ugly. Just think, if the planet stalls on Christmas day, then it will be Christmas forever!!! ;-))
@ChuffChuffWoo Sad story. We don't have any "stuck in the past" issues here in Australia. Anyway, gotta run. I'm off to the Australian premiere of "Star Wars: The Phantom Menace". Getting the game on Nintendo 64 straight after.
@pugmahorn That's why I like Australia!!!! I have a brother who lives in Sydney, and I hope to follow him as soon as I can find someone to take me on. UK is crippled by all its legacies and is destined to fail, Australia is a forward thinking nation with a bright future :-))
@ChuffChuffWoo I was born at the now closed, Crown Street Women's hospital 1947 & I can confirm that Australia is A-OK. But the idea that these windmills propel the Earth around the sun is dead wrong. But they are assumed to be electrical generators. But there is no way we can know that. They could just as easily work in reverse. They may in fact be consuming power, thus causing more CO2. & instead of absorbing wind, they are actually slowing by opposing the wind! Maybe even stop Cyclones?
@ThePbaker2010 Unfortunately the "cleanup in the gulf" was not a cleanup at all it was more like a hurry up and hope it is taken away by currents and that is what happened. And now all we see is a homegrown Louisiana lady saying sorry i made this mess ya'll but i'm cleanin it up. WHAT A GREAT COVER FOR BP. Has anybody ever seen the movie "Wag the Dog" with robert denero and Dustin Hoffman

Maybe they could be placed on the coastline and can stop Cyclones coming ashore? Do you thing I should patent the idea?

Prefer to have windmills then the mess in the gulf, $300,000 a turbine average cost beats the massive clean up expense of 2010

@ThePbaker2010 Windmills are electric generators, offshore drilling is for petroleum products. Not for the same thing
