This program is not aimed at the typical Vidiot, or television watcher I don't think that Max is trying to be clever, it's just that the show moves extremely quickly and covers a massive amount of ground and they are trying to use humour to leaven the message and make the facts presented more entertaining. The show has been enormously influential in the West, I think, and hugely beneficial.
