  • SOOOO....GARY ...DO I DRINK MYSELF SILLY OR POUR THE WHOLE BOTTLE DOWN MY PANTS...?? AND AT THAT POINT, WHO'S GOING TO STRING MY GUITARLOS.

  • I just bought dunlop strings yesterday. I was disappointed because there were rust on the strings.

  • @metallicaddict13 Yeah i had that problem, so i bought some fender original bullets lights..... there amazing!

  • If I want to re-string all my strings. Do I unwind all the strings first or unwind them one by one as I go through re-string them? And which strings should I start with first? Lower strings or higher strings first? Thank You

  • Thank you for the graphite trick. I am a drummer but need to learn as much about music as possible, so I am completely lost on many aspects of guitar playing. Thank you, and peace brother.

  • G&L strats are fucking AMAZING!!!

  • Some videos that need to be done.

    1. Demonstrating re-stringing on an original Floyd Rose, Floyd Rose type and Kahler with locking nuts.

    2. Restringing on reverse in-line headstocks.

    3. Restringing on string-thru tune-o-matics and fixed flatmount models and wrap-around tune-o-matic style tailpieces.

If I'm leaving any out, include those also

  • when gary brawer tells me to lubricate my nut, I lubricate my nut.

  • @GuitarBlues3 please tell me you're joking. don't ever take your guitar to a pro for setup cause that's exactly how they're gonna string your instrument.

These are great tips for folks who've never seen this method

  • @SixStringHarmonies I do lock the strings for tuning stability, but my lower strings are thick, which makes this very difficult. The first time I tried to change my 1st string in this way, I didn't get any windings on it. It stays in tune, but I much prefer my locking method.

  • @MADE2OWND

  • i wonder if he knows how to change strings

  • This video is just AWASH with double entendres

  • I remember the first time I changed my strings, didn't cut the excess wire, just wound the whole thing on, also, it took about an hour and a half

so I guess this will be useful for someone

  • :)

  • this is interesting

  • I'd like to see his technique on a guitar with an OFR.

  • bald

  • no floyd rose video? =P

  • Might be an optical illusion, but notice at 2:52 it appears the tuning machine wobbles slightly. It is a good idea to double check the nuts on the tuning machines with a socket wrench type tool when the strings are off to make sure they are tight.

  • @snouter i saw it move

  • this was not necessary

    it really was not...

  • Seriously?

  • i respect dunlop, their products are amazing, but trying to sell that "neck holder" really? its like "oh, if you dont have this neck holder you cant change your strings"

  • LUBRICATE YOUR NUT...... lol...
