  • is this canoe the same as the coleman colorado inflatable canoe? It looks identical.

  • are inflatable kayaks worth it or is it better to get a real one

  • what is the music in back - it`s great and relaxing

  • Like the way he looks around at the beginning to check no-ones looking!!!. But great helpful video as I've just ordered one.

  • @buckley54 Ha ;-) You;re right I was ;-) Glad it was useful and enjoy the kayak, they are great!

  • canoa eccellente. come il sottofondo musicale. x cortesia, di che brano si tratta?

  • Great video,

I sold my old Colorado because the seat pads were fixed to the floor. If the new model comes like the video, I might buy one again.

  • Awesome review. I'm looking into this canoe and this vid has help greatly. Thanks for the review

  • @ScoutsNOA Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the vid.

  • TOP TIP 2. In order to replace your coloardo back into the carry case with ease, remember the way it first came out of its packaging! Maybe take a series of photo's to remember the sequence. Hopefully you do this before unpacking it and forgetting your camera!

  • @travellingash Yep that's a good point, Thanks.

  • TOP TIP.I found that after pumping up the colorado & placing into the cold water, the air inside will naturally contract after a short while. Don't panic thinking you have a leak! Simply re-pump the lost air to the desired pressure of 1.5psi. As your kayak is climatised to the cold water it should not lose pressure again. If it does then you may have a leak. For assurance complete a dry test at home noting the pressures of each chamber. I ran a 10 hour test with hardly any drop in pressure.

  • Great video guys, you gave me inspiration before finaly deciding to purchase the colorado. However just one question ??? On the capacity plate diagram printed on the colorado it shows to blow up the two side chambers first, then the floor. Having done it this way with no problems and you guys having done it your way......i guess either way is acceptable. I also read somewhere to deflate the kayak in the reverse to setup. Does it really matter ?

  • @travellingash I don't think it matters, but best to follow the instructiosn with anything I guess.

  • Just bought one. Great. No-one mentions the bung at bottom front to drain water! Instructions on boat say to inflate side chambers first, then bottom but seems both methods ok. getting seats in right position so enough room for 2 takes thought - if both using kayak paddles rear user bonks other on head. No real problem with water on board. Gauge cheap and may not be accurate. Hardest thing actually is draining boat ready to transport again, which probably has to be done wet. A lot of fun.

  • I modified mine by setting up rubber covered seating planks just like a real canoe + rubber floor mats...works really great especially for fishing. Tracks well for two person using canoe paddles - making strokes close to the boat's edge. For solo paddling, I use a kayak paddle. Not as fast but will bring you anyplace and anytime at the spur of the moment.

  • @noahfb1 Would like to see your set up. Videos?

  • I read somewhere that the colorado leaks water in pretty bad, is this true? Looking to buy my first inflatable canoe as I don't have the room for a proper one.

  • @Sporkle13 Hi There - we didn't see any problem with this: hard to imagine this tough material leaking too.
