@RageMore1709 Well... some of the lines resemble the description of a "crystal meth" party, or maybe other extimulating drug... so I believe that the image of the dildo comes from this scene. But the way he uses seems more of a person being used as dildo... when there's no sentiment, but only people using each other as sexual objects... what is very common when having sex on drugs. The whole album seems to be trying to reconcile a past of drugs and sex abuse.

@xMarceMarcex I agree with you about 90%, I think he hasn't woken up, he's still going on from the night before at..we'll say 6am. Most are waking up to goto work and lead "normal" lives whereas you are still awake, still drug fucked, probably have a boner to boot then the feelings of emptiness and such you speak of kick in. Not that I have any experience in such matters :P

I think he is not trying to say SOMETHING about the kettle or its whistle, it's just a way to get you in the mood of the song. I for my myself find the lyrics very melancholic but most of all, it transmits loneliness. And the whistle in the cold light of the day transmits loneliness and sadness to me.

But well, I can't be sure. This is my own interpretation.
