@Ex0rz yes i think techies is a bit useless in that version. this is a 3yrs old video, but i can say techies is much better in the current version because of the aganims and force staff.

Forcestuff allows you to maybe kill people mroe easily but still makes you useless in 5v5 fights lategame after the enemyteam gets a gem ^^ But yea remotemines deal way more damage so in that sense single remote mines deal a ton of aoe dmg if you manage to place and detonate them in the middle of a team fight. But the stuntraps of techies or imbalanced as fuck as long as you hit them... 7sec stun atleast when i still played. Thats a won team fight if you hit 3+heroe

@Ex0rz if your saying a 5v5 pub game, there's really a high chance that techies will screw everything. but with a good team/players and coordination, techies would be a great support. just try watching official replays and you'll see...

@Anthrenz I have played in leagues with mostly hs players ^^ Techies would be horrible as a support. He has nothing early game. His autoattack dmg sucks donkeyballs so he has no harassing potential. Also higher skilled players will just get a fast gem to counter his wards. Techies cant gang or harass in any way early game... Too slow too weak not a single good earlygame spell.

@Anthrenz The player cannot change the skills of the hero. As i already said above. A bad hero doesnt become any better in the hands of a better player. Not even the best player in the world can make a bad hero better than a good hero. KS.int/Nirvana/whatever it was back then tried techies after that agha patch and kuroky totally failed with it... Its just not a viable hero too useless early game no matter who plays him.

and before i frgot. well it's very funny when i remembering that moment :D i planted a stun-wards, plant landmine, then after he resurected he got stunned and the landmine explode. i normal attacked him for a few times. when the stun wears off, ive used the guinsoo. normal attacked him again for a few times. when the hex wears off. he decided to attack me, i cast the euls scepter, immadiately planted a stun-wards+remote, he got stunned. detonate. attack-atk-atk-atk-atk..he's dead =))

@teckyang97 Techies is not useless. It depends on how you play. Techies has many variables in terms of gameplay, he can be a ganker, defender, farmer or even a killer in early games. Just like other INT Heroes you need some items to play him to his fullest :)
