  • 20-30 cups a day? damn, you guys are hard core. I average about 2-8 myself.

  • Nice vid from two avid green tea drinkers! Not sure where you gathered your information about Japan being safe for pesticides. I've been in Japan 20+ years and can tell you pesticide usage is rife. The most sprayed being rice & green tea.

  • Thanks for your comment!

We haven't seen a Japanese tea field being sprayed (never had the chance), but we have seen other types of fields being sprayed. It looks like they're spraying the heck out of them! However, not being an expert on pesticide chemicals, I can't really tell if they're using an unhealthy amount.

Either way, if you or other Japanese tea drinkers are worried about pesticides, there are always organic options! :D

  • Very nice channel guys. I'm a novice with tea and I'm learning a lot. I tried many types of tea and I think I'm going to stick with Japanese Teas. I manly drink sencha haruno and hojicha Shizuoka. Keep up the good work and nice haircut Matt!
