DUDE!!!, Canon SX1 IS can do that. taking stills while shooting videos. what it does is it will automatically pause the video for less than a second and then it will continue with the video shooting. do your homework. + it's FULL HD.

yes i got your point. but, you don't have to go to the process of turning off the video capture, go to the still shot sitting you want, press the shutter button, go to the video mode again and press record mode. that will take more than 5 seconds DUDE!!! no problem... SX1 IS has noise issue in low light though. I was thinking of waiting for the next development of Canon's SX1 IS, Panasonic's FZ35 and the Sony HX1. This slow motion is a very cool feature by the casio though.

Wonderful video, I have an ex-f1 too. It's not so easy to capture living things like that on film so nice one. I have some Bee's in one of my videos it is very short though. this video of yours is amazing ;)

VERY NICE!:) I just got the FC-20 myself and am playing around with filming birds, bees etc:) Does the F1 shoot 1000fps at much higher quality than the FC-20?... BTW: very nice music you have composed! I compose music aswell and have also edited slowMo vid to my music, hehe. Think I might upload a few vids to YouTube soon.

It just depends. To me, the camera is kind of experimental. It definitely has flaws. But I don't really mind. I've always loved slow motion, and there is no other camera right now that can shoot frame rates like the casio for the price.

When i was growing up i spent 11 years on the ocean with my dad,in heavy winds the seagulls would do this several feet away from the boat when we were washing the deck of the boat off, they were waiting for scraps to hit the water there sometimes would be thousands of them,thanks for the memorizes they are very precious,Best wishes to you and yours
