Hey, I know how you feel. I'm 15, and I REALLY hate the 2000's!!! I was definitely born in the worng era.

I really want a perm too. But it costs $265!!!!!

And whenever I ask the damn hairdresser to cut my hair 80's......It doesn't even look 80's. It just looks the freakin same! Arrghh. I say get the perm!!! I wish I could get one!

I vote no to the perm Becky. i have curly hair and i'm sick to death of it. I wanted straight hair when i were a lad and it used to bug the hell out of me, and as for brushing; forget it. Total nightmare. Yours looks fine as it is. Enjoy the straightness! {:=]

Back in the day [did i actually just use the phrase?] I didn't care for Springsteen. It grew on me over the years.

Well, the E Street stuff did. His later stuff doesn't do much for me—especially Born in the USA. (Hey, who needs 3 chord rock & roll, when you can do it in 2? "This song's just got two chords! Well, I vote NO on the perm. I don't know much about hair thangs...but maybe a body wave will give you more volume & shape without the "electrified poodle" look of a full perm. You are a cutie...but you have a high forehead. Ever think about bangs? Try a wig on at some shop first...just to see. Damn, I hate getting drawn into commenting on female's hairstyles...you always loose (grin). Nice tune & energy as always. If I ever get the balls to film myself..I'll let you know...LOL-grew my hair out.

Why are people recommending hair related things I hate? XD I never liked bangs, and I always liked the wonderful pomposity and ridiculousness of the perm. Sad, but true. I didn't mean an uber-tight poodle perm, essentially I just want my hair to be curly forever. Curls, not waves.

Pleeeeeeease don't call me a cutie. Any other adjective is fine as long as it's not "cute/cutie".

Hahaha, I wouldn't've have ranted if you recommended a different hairdo I like. (Eg: feathered, backcomb, etc) But I have a strong hatred of fringes ('bangs' to you) - they make my head itchy and they just sit there like a fluffy insect on your forehead. I grew mine out when I was 8 and never looked back. XD Hell, how should I know? I'm used to what I look like, and I haven't cracked a mirror yet (except the time I dropped one). You're probably not as old as my dad anyway, so relax.
