  • They are one tough badass motherfuckin machines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Awesome. You got a 4x4 with a different engine doing that to a stock Chevy. Haha good job

  • This video went viral on Minsk

  • <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

  • Go the International!!

  • Although I do think the Scout would have won anyway, it did have a little rolling advantage there in that it started moving before the Chevy.

  • I would trust an International Scout to pull like a freight train before I trusted a Chevy. And I would trust the Harvester and a Chevy to go the distance, before I would trust a Ford or a Dodge not to go bust.

  • Chevy cant pull shit

  • this seriously just made my day.scouts are theeee best!

  • @seculartechnogy

That's nice. The guy I pulled out of the lake sure liked it though. He didn't complain one bit, as a matter of fact he bought me a beer afterwards. Don't think he cared if I was in 2wd or 4wd. Just made a cool story after.

  • Fucking Cheby is no fucking match

  • it's not just the gearing, it's the motor

  • @ChuckTruck78

Dana axel, engine , and the weight. My 7.3 weighs a ton. Not to mention the higher tow hitch helps a lot.

  • Scout is king!!!

  • well them other guys say that that crappy scout will pull anything

  • If u really have nothing better to do with ur time than tie them together and drive em away from eachother

  • @johnstigall. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that a big truck in 4wheeldrive can pull a little scout ig

  • scouts pull anything? bull shit a ford superduty would pull them all up and down the hills

  • the chevy probally died and won't start thanks to the QUADRA -FLOOD CARB,

  • I've got a 76 Scout II with the 345. Damn thing weighs 1300 pounds more than my F-150 SuperCrew. It will pull anything, period. I pulled a F-350 dually with a boat and trailer on it, up the boat ramp-- in two wheel drive.

  • @1eyedtanker

I have a 73'er And it'll pull everything other than my friends F-350 Dually in 4x4 mode. That little story seems like a heap of crap though.

  • internationals were built like tanks

  • @evinsteven13 ame mileage too haha

  • We tried this at work with 2 Toyota forklifts. Same results: Old one which was geared much lower and had a 5510 lb capacity dragged the new one which was geared higher and had a 3800 lb capacity like the chevy in this movie--spinning like crazy going nowhere. The old yoda felt like it could have dragged 2 new ones with no problem. Torque rules!!

  • LOL POOR CHEVY, lol you cant out pulla scout with a chevy lol. lol that was good

  • that video got me a scout

  • haha thats great i was a chevy fan ive always like fords better but i liked chevy up untill king nig started owning them and then they moved to china but my favorite is internationals all the way id like to see any chevy go against a 70's international pickup with a 392 in it and scouts stalk have lower gears and more power than chevy trucks so yeah this scout might not have stalk gears but even if it did that chev wouldnt put a fight and a bronco wouldnt be any better than tht chev

  • LOL! That cracked me up.

  • It's isn't fair cause the scout is probably rockin either 4.10s or 4.27s man. in tug of wars it's all about gear ratios man. A four banger could yang a 09 ford down the line, if it has like 5.38s in it.

  • man scouts have a lot of power! lol now try a ford bronco vs. a scout.

  • Still wouldn't be a fair fight, but it would do a damn sight better than that Shitvy.

  • well i dont know i mean i like chevys too just not the one on this video. lol

  • that baby holds no shame, 251,000 miles

  • lol

  • wow lol that is wasome

  • Comment removed

  • Haha now put em both in 4wd lol

  • What can I say...Scout, anything else is just a car!

  • Nice. Now lets have some fun and hook a Scout to a Blazer. I know longbed trucks have no traction in 2wd.

  • Those Blazers were pieces of shit. I doubt they could find one that still runs.

  • Funny. I got one here with a built 454 and no time for bullshit.

  • Well you're lucky, cause my dad bought one off the line, and it burned oil from day one. POS

  • Was this a full size blazer or an S-10 blazer? Because I know the S-10 blazer with a 2.8 litre v6 was a complete pile of shit.

  • It was a full size.

  • why have a pulloff with a scout the guy driving the scout will win

  • ya cant beat a scout

  • Great Video, Maybe Ill try it with My 75 Scout and My 1974 Chevy C-10. Any bets? I'll put 1000 on my Scout!

  • I just read 7 pages of comments.

  • It just isn't fair to hook anything up to a Scout.

  • @1blueeyes1980 too true

  • lim slip rear

  • lol chevy is for punk bitches

  • Ok, so heres the deal The scout does not have a Dana 60 with posi its an open Dana 44 with 3.73 gears. It also doesnt have a camper on the back. I know I own it. It does have a 4 speed with creeper, the Chevy is an Auto. The scouts low gearing and High torque is why it won in another video when I tried pulling out in 2nd the chevy dragged me around when the Scout stalled. It all came down to gearing.

  • scouts do rule but heres the thing...scout has a posi dana 60 ...its obvious the chev dont

  • i work for a guy whose got probably 8 IH scouts and all of them run great he also has a bunch of other international equipment its all awesome

  • thats right, a scout will kill anything

  • scout will kill anything that comes its way! grew up with my dad having one. sickest thing ever! im going to have one some day.

  • chevy got fucked straight in the ass

  • @phate451 GFY

  • Reason the scout won is , (unlike chevys and fords etc),it is built using the same parts as other I.H. vehicles, i.e. trucks, tractors and the like. The standard 345 came with forged internals, water cooled intake manifold, geared timing drive and many other cool things. I have towed full concrete trucks out of muddy building sites with mine, nothing is as tough. Look up the 1000 hour @ redline test done by I.H.

  • Very true, aint no other engine gonna run at red line for a 1000 hours. They took those same engines and sold them in new vehicles and it was proven they were the best running IH engines after that break in period. A guy at International told me that they should have done that to all their engines before selling them but there was not enough time to do that to all of them.

  • scout has more weight on the back... there fore more traction.... i'd take the chevy... CHEVY RULES!

  • suck a fat one

  • oh nice insult... well ok not really but if it makes you feel better.

I'm not saying IH sucks... i like IH trucks BUT! i'm a chevy man through and though... i hotrod so i build off chevy small blocks.

  • ok whatever

  • WOW! nice come back... i gotta remember that one

  • seriously how do you figure the scout has more weight in the back? the chvy should weigh more anyways besides dont say chebby rules on a vid where cheby loses it makes you sound like an ignorant dillhole.

  • can you not see the heavy ass camper shell on the back of the scout? if it was a chevy blazer and not a c10 then yeah id say yeah the scout won fair and square...

so shut the hell up dumbass... you dont know what the hell your talking about

  • lol i think i have an idea of what im talking about, and it is WAY heavier in front of a scout considering the motor can be from 700-800 pounds dumbass

  • A hot rod is a ruined vehicle. Enough said.

  • scouts are the best

  • OH YEAH!

  • IHC made EXCELLENT light trucks plus the Scout. I drove many of them-powerful as $hl+. Their only drawback was that their bodies often rotted out. You had to keep after them.

  • Scout POWER go the 345!!

  • wada go IHC !!!

  • international are the best, 345 r awsomee

  • OH YEAH!

  • the only reason it won is the v=chevy was a longbed so its really light on the ass end and it looked like the scout was in 4 wheel drive because there was no wheel spin

  • nice

  • yes they are, i was out there today on the beach

  • no doubt. Scouts rule!!!!!!!!!

  • Wanta really have some fun ? put a holley 500 2 barrel carb on it, then use the low range with unlocked hubs, split the transfer at 40 mph and grab the high side, do it til good at it ((watch out you don't torque the oil filter against the frame, then go look around for a 6-pak duster, its sweet the drool outta the chin !

  • Scouts RULE!!! I have my 1979 in Juarez, Mexico 345 in it. Hard to beat a Baja 1000 champion.

  • i drove my scout from seattle to cabo in 52 hours.

  • How far is he going to drag that chevy???

  • Scouts Rule!!!!! Very cool video!!!!

  • Nothing beats a Scout. I love my 1969 800 half cab.

  • im a 78 scout ii owner body is built weak but a scout is not a truck a scout is built like a tractor built for a purpose to climb a tree for poohs honey

  • nothing better than a corn picker. Got a 1966 800 myself.

  • Yeah because I tryed pulling out in second!!! Dont get fired up here Brain that scout has been called into duty more the once to pull your truck out lol. Things might be different with that new tranny though!!

  • Well that was my truck that just got pulled 1979 Chevy K10 251000 miles, 350/th350 with an NP 203 ... the first video that we took the Steveo the Scout driver stalled it out.. lol.. good times at college

  • scouts are the best hands down. my 79 scout pull a ford dually with a gooseneck about half full of logs for firewood out of a hole. never under estimate the power of a scout.

  • Nothing against International but this was not a fair pull. the truck had no weight in the back and the IH is a Scout with a roof and glass (added weight) and the engine in the IH is prbably a little more worn. i.e. once the tires spun on teh Truck they got slippery and the IH just pulled a sliding truck.

  • I am a big Scout fan but I agree. It looked like the Scout had a head start. Not to mention, who does a pull in a parking lot? You should have done it on some gravel or dirt.

  • Thanks man I'm not an IH hater, as a matter of fact they are probably one of the badest trucks ever built. Union f'ed IH truck division over. kinda of a shame I hate it anytime an American manufacture looses a division.

  • IH trucks arent bad at all. They are very good in fact.

  • I drove LOTS of IHC's and they were all BEAUTIFUL to drive. Bodywise they seemed to rot out easily but they were powerful as all heck.

  • We were bored one day down at our college apartments... so we did it in the lower parking lot....haha

  • hey please don't give me anymore negative comments I'm NOT Mocking International they made a hell of a truck and still do. I don't care that the chevy got its ass beat, I was mearly pointing out the facts of the pull thats all. I AM NOT AN INTERNATIONAL HATER! ok?

  • IHC > Chevy

  • so good they went out of business, lol

  • Nah, International is still around but good try. Keep thinking outside the box.

  • i like IH,my dad worked for their tractor division when they tanked

  • Cool. Someone should post a video of a IH tractor and a Chevy in a pull off.

  • We used to have a scout (sold it unfortunately) and still have our '79 Silverado. I can vouch for this video. We never did tug-O-war like this, but the Scout was sent in like the calvary to pull the Silverado out form a slough or bog. The scout, had good weight distribution and great torque in the 1st 2 gears, where it all counts. Heck even our '46 IH KB5 would sometimes go in for the rescue.

  • Damn i love scouts, my '71 scout is a badass when it runs, scout pride

  • I had the best of both worlds a scout 800 with a 350

  • I got a 75 scout and it's Badass. I'm in the middle of swapping motors. I hydro-locked my 196 driving in th river this weekend. So I have to stick my 345 in it.

  • Lol Ima chevy boy but Scouts are badass. My friend has one and ya cant git that sob stuck even if ya wanted to.

  • Thanks weasy, I did'ent know that. Sorry for being wrong. I love Scouts, but in my country, if you see one on the streets, your in luck.

  • Watch how the right rear wheel from the Chevy starts to spinn and how there is no wheel spin at the Scout due to the Pro-Loc Locker.

  • Your wrong Scouts did not come stock with a Tracloc Locker, number 1 the trac loc wasnt a locker it was a cheap posi and most burned up second that scout has an open rear diff with 3.73 gears, and a 4 speed other than the lift its all stock. The chevy had a built 350. The scout simply because it weighed more and could get more torque to the pavement than the chevy, but it doesnt have a locker or posi or anything like that

  • The trick is that the Scout has a Trac-Loc Locker in the rear axle wich was standard. The Chevy has no locker, one wheel starts to spinn and the result was seen in the video.

  • i can vouch for the scout... got a 64 with a 289... lots of balls...

  • lolol NICE ! !

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! THAT IS SWEET!!!

  • frickkin sweet weasy
