Which snake has the most 'painfull' venom aka which snake is the absolute Worst a human would want to take a bite from ? I know some venom's cause the flesh to start rotting, some clott the blood, id like for you to educate me though. Whats the absolute Last snake youd want to take a bite from and why
@rrredzzz Questions too broad, since I don't have the experience of being bitten or known people whom have sustained bites by all of the possibilities. I would guess: Bitis, Daboia, Echis, whould be my least favorite.
"Mr. Brown" is one of my favorites, such an inquisitive looking face as far as snakes go. I was under the misconception that he was an Eastern Brown (Pseudonaja) rather than a King Brown, but regardless a very beautiful and interesting snake to watch.
now Al, i don't wanna question your methods since you've been working with these snakes longer than i have, but don't you think you're tempting fate by sticking appendages in the cage?
i know the feeling, I've been field herping on more than one occasion when I've wanted to play poke n spin with a Copperhead or two...but i use a fairly long hook
P. rossignolii is one of Raymond Hoser's taxonomic entries: does anyone take Hoser seriously? (I know that some of his claims have been... ahem ... questionable).
I may want to drop you a line at some point: I am going to be returning to Pittsburgh soon and wondered if you knew any venomous keepers in the area looking for an apprentice. (I think i should learn how to handle green mambas from an experienced keeper before getting one myself... )
Just got a question. I herd that one of Vipers and all predatory animals main instincts is to prey and hunt for there food, so wouldent it be a good idea to live feed all your vipers so they get that feel of hunting again?
actually live is good true but they are in captivity where nothing is really natural and people would freak out at the sight of a snake eating live see some live feeding vids shaking the dead animal is similar
Vince.. You've heard wrong. They do hunt, but all some snakes need are fast movement to get them going. The feeder animal does not have to be alive to move and lure the snake to bite.
Am I mistaken, or did you actually live feed a snake? I know you said many times that you normally don't, but I was totally shocked by that! Excellent vid as always.

Watch you're language on Al's site.
He already posted a video in a rant asking people to curve their words when on his page. Don't be a tool

Hi Viperkeeper. This may sound silly, but have you ever had a snake seriously hurt (or killed) by a live feed?

They've been bitten but not seriously injured

viperkeeper 2 years ago
Hey Al, can you make a video showing you Forest cobra?
StuntKing909 2 years ago

That's current according to WW. Yes, it slighly turned my stomach to use that name but it is what it is... I don't know anybody in that area.

You should really learn from easier snakes which are more placid.
Green Mambas aren't a wise decision for a first Hot

Thanks!
williamjgleed 2 years ago
1) Because then have asshole hanging out just to watch the action.
2) Very few get fed live food
3) We have PETA & HSUS already getting bans passed, they don't need the ammunition.

do they generally strike and let the mouse die or do they hold it in their mouth until I dies?

Depends on the snakes mood.
