you sell out pretty much every game, and about 60 percent of people in the stadium are so fucking drunk, they don't remember past the 3rd inning. and phillie fans really DON"T know the game as well. like i said, pretty much the only people who arent drunk, are pregnant women. and the mets open tomorrow too. its just not a home game, because the schedules have to fit in place. it has nothing to do with being good or bad.

never been to a phillies game? i went to CBP last year 16 times including game 4 of the world series, where fans were extra fuckin drunk. and we shout mvp to not just anyone, but carloa delgado. because he sucked in the beginning of the year and the mets sucked. when he went on a tear, the mets had that ten game winning streak where they came back from 7.5 games down in the division to be in first in a week and a half. thats bigger than any choke the mets have let up. the only difference is

the mets did it at the end of the year ONCE. in 08, we didn't chocke. just because we lost on the last day to decide the playoffs wasnt choking. we had been out of the division for the last week of 08, and the wild card was neck to neck, and it happened to to come down to the final day. we didn't blow anything in 08. and lastly, yeah, your great world series champs fared well last night in the precious first game of the year, nearly getting shut out by an "ace" who belongs in the 3, 4 spot. nice

A good team does not let a 3 game lead with two weeks to go slip away. They never belonged in the playoffs anyway. That to me is plenty of choking. Again you show how little you know. My estimates are based on just what they did last year is what I base it on. Yes it's my opinion. But it's an educated guess. You just make the guess because for some reason every year people think the Mets will win the division. We are the team to beat. Hell your own players even try to call that after Jimmy did and at least got it right. Just think of this. Imagine what Hamels stats would be like if he wasn't at HR citizens bank park. if our crappy pen from last year hadnt blown SEVEN of his wins. and relying on moyers 47 years isn't too strong. he had a good year last year but at his age, it will be near impossible to repeat that. and wow, blanton. what a great pitcher HE is. and the bullpen can't be trusted to do exactly what it did last year. lidge is one of the most inconsistant relief pitchers of his time, and you just said jc romero will be out for the 50 game steroids suspension. that'll hurt pretty bad.

and trust this, coming from a mets fan whos been there, done that. a bullpen can go from sweet to sour FAST. the mets had arguably the best bullpen in the mlb in 06. they kept the same bullpen but got different results in 07. heilman was off all year, sanchez was never the same after a freak injury, and billy wagner was blowing games like crazy, after being fairly consistant in 06. things change. don't get too confident this year, or it will come back to haunt you.
