  • I love how you people don't realize that we were indoctrinated in school to accept being homosexual more readily than ever before. It's pretty obvious now that I look back. Out of nowhere gay-straight alliance came into the arena and it was forced down every students throat every morning of school over the intercom and by our teachers. But other programs were quieted or shunned. Propaganda much?

  • @AerialRush And before someone tries to bash me, just think about it and you'll know it is/was true. I don't really care about the whole gay side of this but it does bother me that an agenda is forced onto an impressionable population. Promote individual thinking my ass...

  • LGBT are not coming for the bigots, the bigots are coming for the LGBT. That's what "small government" is all about. Bigots want tiny tiny government. So tiny it fits your home, your bedroom, and a woman's uterus.

  • Haha wow thats crazy. they dont kno what else to do to brainwash people. theyre gettin pathetic. they dont hav legitimate reasons on why its so 'bad', theyre turning into something 'scary' really? stupid.

  • They're just gay people...

    ...Who cares?

  • There mentioning rainbows and there against gays? well now thats just fruity

  • These people don't want to protect "marriage." What they are protecting and defending is the absurd and archaic tenets of their belief system, they could give a rat's ass about marriage. And I like how they tried to add an "end of the world" type vibe to this ad. LOL..leave it to Christians to use scare tactics to win people over. But then that's how Christianity has endured for so long. That's its secret. It frightens people into adherence, especially children.

  • rainbow coalition? :D funny

  • @perthornalexandros I know right! lol

  • @perthornalexandros sounds like a song from the village people.

  • God is only going to be forced todirect you to hell if you dont let Jesus cleanse you. No dirt in Heaven allowed, God cant tolerate unforgiven sin.

  • God is coming to change the world, it is called the Second Coming, so we had better save souls not worry about changing the world. You cant stop God.

  • @chrismarshva He was supposed to have done that almost 2000 years ago...

Jesus falsely prophesies DIRECTLY to the high priest (Caiphas) that he would live to see his second coming. Jesus uses the term “coming on the clouds of heaven”. This clearly negates the “coming” as the resurrection but as a return to the earth on CLOUDS, not his return in human form from the dead. Matthew 26:64 & Mark 14:62.

    Bible-fail.

  • @chrismarshva May the power of Optimus Prime punish all who do not follow his will

  • @chrismarshva So your god made his presence very well known to people centuries ago. And even went as far as to send a representative of himself (Jesus) to perform actual feats of supernatural prowess (miracles) for thousands of witnesses for the sole purpose of winning their minds and hearts. Then suddenly he decides he will never do it again and breaks all ties with humanity. LOL...how you can accept this without question and still maintain a straight-face is beyond me.

  • You Straight People better watch out us Gay are after you

  • Lol, "rainbow coalition of people".

  • lol wtf!

  • I want a wedding band when i marry that woman so what?

  • So what I talk to cats all the time, sometimes to cats no longer living. Cat crazies I guess.

  • It isnt personal to me unless people say Christianity doesnt have a problem with it. I dont like the gay haters either. Both misrepresent my religion. You can say a lot of wonderful rationales for gay marriage but you cant use Christianity Judaism or Islam for justification. Choose God or GM but not both.

  • @chrismarshva Okay. I choose gay marriage. No problem.

And I'm not even gay :)

But for all the "love" you guys claim, you are awfully intolerant of others, whether it be believers of other god/s, gay people, atheists, or what have you...

So I am a little scared of this "loving" god of yours (who's going to roast me forever).

And I don't think such a terrible demon lord DESERVES worship, anyways!

  • If God doesn't want gay marriage or homosexuality, than God can come down and stop it. I am a heterosexual man. I think that people should leave religeon OUT of a person's PERSONAL choices. I never read or heard anything against homosexuality in the 10 commandments. I am not for homosexuality personally, but I won't hate a person just because they're homosexual.

  • I fucking love this guy ... I always search controversial subjects when im bored and this guy always does a video on that subject with my exact opinion.

  • "The wind blows...Like the..." Hahahaha

  • A RAINBOW COALITION OF PEOPLE...... RAINBOW?????

    That's our Flag! That's us!

We are coming! Gays a coming!

    this is classic! :->

  • Go Gay Marriage

  • "A rainbow collation." Really? REALLY? I think I've actually seen this commercial on TV before, and I'm Canadian. Must have been on one of the American stations I used to watch.

  • Gay men wanting to adopt children is amongst the creepiest things that happen in this world.

  • @HaremHaver132

No, the creepiest thing in the world is to not allow children the chance for a loving and happy home simply because of another person's ignorance about gay people or a gay couple in particular.

    That's why there's background checks.

  • @GojyotheFeared Says the guy who has thousands of posts on this video alone. Yikes. There are other videos on youtube, dude. Once they figured out that your life has revolved around this ridiculous video for years, you will fail the background check. What are you doing? Life is passing you by, dude. Wake up. You should make yourself go one week without posting on this video. It would be good for you. You need not reply, you have proven yourself too big of a loon to converse with. Enjoy the video

  • @HaremHaver132 Hahaha! Like you are any different, to propose that he has engaged in gay oriented videos and that you pursue them, and claim to have engaged in them for years? Well, what does that tell us about you? BTW, why are you on an video site that is promoting gay promotion?

  • @HaremHaver132

and what do my comments have to do with adoption rights?

Nice try at avoiding the subject there, but no dice.

Of course there are other videos. But I am constantly brought back to this one thanks to you and other idiots who keep responding and making idiotic discriminatory remarks.

Secondly, who said anything about me adopting? I'm not even married yet and here you are putting words in my mouth.

  • @GojyotheFeared The only problem with your logic is I didn't reply to one of your 1000s of comments. I posted a new comment, my first on this video, and you replied in minutes, like you were sitting their waiting for someone to leave a new comment. Is this how you spend all your time? Clearly it is. A quick F3 search shows that. See what I'm saying. Kinda creepy. You're not married? The devil you say?

  • @HaremHaver132

ppearently you are having a hard time comprehending what I posted.

    "Because you and other idiots"

In other words, your comment didn't have to be in response to mine in order for me to see it and respond to it.

    It's called a chain reaction.

Someone says something idiotic and full of hate and bigotry, another person like me responds to correct their idiocy.

Thus a seemingly endless comment exchange ensues with more and more comments filling hte page until another

  • idiot decides to spread their idiocy either in response to the comment exchange or of something else entirely, yet seen numerous times over and over again here on this video or on others.

Hence why I responded to you because you are yet another amoung the countless idiots I have encountered.

How many comments I have posted previously is irrelavent.

It doesn't change the fact that you are still acting like an idiot.

  • @HaremHaver132 Children not having a home because bigoted bitches like you wont let them raise a family is one of the saddest things in the world.

  • @SmashtheCmachine Don't worry, It's not just you. Straight people don't get to adopt kids either. We have to adopt from Ethiopia. Of coarse, even they aren't desperate enough to adopt a male child to a gay male couple. A quick F3 search shows that you have also posted to this video 1000s of times over several years. I would like a reply from someone who has seen the outside of a building this millennium, please. Not the creeps that devote their sad lives to this ridiculous excuse for a video.

  • @HaremHaver132 OH NOES! I comment on here a lot, therefor that totally over-rules any logic I present!!1!

I, personally, would like to discuss this issue with a homophobe who isn't COMPLETELY retarded...

    lol

  • @HaremHaver132 So let me get this straight: whenever someone replies to you, you go and count all their posts?

And THAT is the deciding factor, for you? Not their LOGIC... not their intentions... just their bloody post count?!

    Oh my FUCKING god!

  • @SmashtheCmachine Yeah, if someone posts thousands of times over several years to a video were some talk show wannabes laugh at a commercial, I'd say that's a pretty good indication that something isn't quite right upstairs. You should force yourself not to post on this video for a week, it would be good for you. I care not to debate with someone that is completely obsessed with such a ridiculous video.

  • @HaremHaver132 I post on SEVERAL videos, mixing it up, and I HAVE gone weeks of not posting. What's your point, again?

  • @SmashtheCmachine Hey, whatever helps you justify your obsession. Good luck trying to change the world 1 youtube account at a time. I hope your boyfriend is a patient man as you are a bit of a drama queen, if I must say so myself. Cheers.

  • @HaremHaver132 Hey, good luck finding arbitrary reasons to condone your bigotry ;)

  • @SmashtheCmachine Ok whatever. Stop replying to my comment. Creepy internet stalker.

  • @HaremHaver132 Don't reply to my own comments, then. Stop replying here, and your problem will be solved (as opposed to what you're doing - telling me to stop replying to you, even as you keep coming back to reply! Talk about having a problem upstairs... you got it!) ;)

Besides: harassing imbeciles is so much more entertaining then television, and I had a bit of enjoyment at your expense.

  • I love that this organisation's acronym would be...NOM. :D

  • today i learned that people can be dumb, so dumb that it makes me put my fist through my laptop...

  • Proposition 8 serves no purpose, and has no effect, other than to lessen the status and human dignity of gays and lesbians in California, and to officially reclassify their relationships and families as inferior to those of opposite-sex couples.

There is no defense for bigotry. This court ruling spells it out. Don't like gay marriage? Don't get one! How difficult is that?

Stop blaming your "faith" or your "God" for your personal hatred towards people you deem inferior. It's not God, it's YOU!

  • what is so scary? Gay people promote their homosexuality! Why shouldn't we promote a sound mind?

  • Straight people do care! Because we want to have a healty society.

  • I hate how evangelicals like to play the victims.

  • There are many sexual orientations nowadays....the newest is Anti-Gay, which are people pretending to be straight who can't shrug off their gay tendencies so they vilify people who are comfortable with being gay.

  • HAhahahaha at 0:55 the host says "Really? What are they going to have sex with you?" in the background of the commercial....too funny. This commercial is immoral, discriminatory, and hilarious.

  • spectrum.

  • @Bossk333

Nice avoidance of the issue, Mr. I Can't Say Anything So I'll Resort To Calling You Names To Make Myself Feel Better.

Once again, it is the attraction you must focus on. Not the gender of the person with the attraction.

The opposite of a man is a woman, yes. But that is not the issue here.

The issue is the attraction, not the gender.

Therefore and hence why the opposite of a gay man is a heterosexual man because their attractions are at completely different ends of the

  • "my freedom will be taken away"

How the fuck will YOUR freedom be taken away?

  • The issue is God and writings attributed to Him, writings meant to be followed by the faithful. Avtually God eould like all to follow them but that is wishful thinking as not all love God. Even if the unsaved obeyed them, obedience woild not save them, onlu faith in Jesus.

  • @chrismarshva Yep. You can be as hateful and as corrupt as you like... but just have the good fortune to believe in jesus before you croak, and poof! YOU'RE SAVED!

But if you have a kind and loving heart, and help millions, but DON'T believe in jesus, you have just committed the most UNSPEAKABLE of crimes!!1!

    Fuck that noise.

  • If there is no god or God in school I expect them to say expressing gay orientation is OK. The whole counterargument is God not letting Christians the people who follow God do it, which is supported by the Bible inspired of God. And a general opinion of God calling sex before and outside man and woman marriage wrong.

  • @chrismarshva

That might be all well and good in Catholic schools, but in public and even private schools, you can believe in whichever god you choose. Just don't bring it to school with you and if you do, have the decency to not criticize others for having different beliefs.

  • Jesus... how sick can people be? Two people of the same sex and of legal age in love has NOTHING to do with animals.

Why, then, are idiots like kiri there always bringing up screwing animals?

And they call gay people the perverts.

It's no wonder same sex marriage is becoming increasingly accepted, with such feeble arguments like that.

  • @Bossk333

A man who is attracted to women is the polar opposite of a man who is attracted to men.

    Polar opposite.

    Simple fact.

  • @Bossk333

    You are such an idiot.

IT'S NOT THE GENDER THAT MAKES THEM OPPOSITES! HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU HAVE TO BE TOLD THIS LITTLE FACT?

Its their attraction, not their gender.

Also, I find it hilarious that you comment has been removed from the comment page of this video. Proving either that you are too ashamed of your own idiocy here or too many people flagged your comment or perhaps was simply removed because TYT themselves were annoyed by your idiocy.

  • @Bossk333 By the way, I formally request you not reply to me any further, nor shall I reply to you save for this final post to indicate I wish for no further interaction.

  • @Bossk333 And YOU followed me to several other videos, leaving comments such as:

"@CockSuckingSuperFaggot Actually, the thing about the insane asylum was my original post. The 'accident' is just a figment of your imagination. I'm not really an Asian chick. you got trolled the fuck up down and sideways. Hook, line and sinker. You are so gay, as well. it's as plain as the nose on your face"

You sure are dumb ;) That is harassment.

  • @Bossk333 By the way, wardawk... sloppy "trolling", once again.

But I'm glad you are so proud of your pathetic excuse for "trolling", otherwise known as "harassment"!

  • @Bossk333 And at that note you have lost all credibility here, you have proclaimed yourself a liar as being a liar and ... wait the imbecile here, How stupid can you be??

  • @Bossk333 How interesting, I had many encounters in Olonga Apo, (Philippines) further back in Da Nong (Vietnam) I am not sure I met your mother in Korea, but it wouldn't surprise me if I did, but hey I did quite a few, was your mom in Seoul? Not that it matters I'm about to celebrate my 30th anniversary with my wife. So bitch move on, cause I own your little ass.

  • @Bossk333 Wow! I have seen bitches before but you take the cake, do you guys eat cake? Yep, that was meant to be a slant, a cross of your slant maybe? I mean I wouldn't want to be accused of being a bigot here. Why take your title away, I mean why say something like slant eyes, that is derogatory and offensive to a people of another ethnicity and yet slant your views to another. You are a disgrace to your belifes

  • @Bossk333 Yeah, whatever. Troll.

  • @Bossk333 See... In truth, I'm a gay guy pretending to be straight, even though I'm bi, and I'm part of a secret organization to catch shitty trolls!

  • @Bossk333 Yip. I'm sobbing my eyes out right now. Liar ;)

Previously, when I called you sexist for discriminating against GAY MEN, you asked how you could be sexist against your own gender. Now you claim to be a woman.

    Go away, troll.

  • P.S.

Given that it is the attraction that distincts the similarities and subsequent differences in this subject matter, your previous statement "the opposite of a straight man is a straight woman" is contradictory.

Once again, it is the ATTRACTION, not the gender. It doesn't matter if it is a man or a woman. The main point is they are either attracted to the same, or opposite gender.

  • @GojyotheFeared I think you're wasting timetalking to that one, personally.. The idiot is just trying to stir everyone up.

But then again, I haven't met one homophobe who isn't trying to do just that... so maybe not. Or maybe I'm wasting my time, also.

    *shrugs*

  • @Bossk333

You are focusing on the gender. Not the fact that regardless of their different genders, they are both attracted to the same gender respective to their own.

It's the attraction to the same gender you need to focus on, not the different genders of the individuals.

I told you this before, yet you still persist on acting like an idiot.

  • @Bossk333 Actually, all you proved is you're a troll.

  • @Bossk333 And secondly: I would have SWORE you said "fag". My bad.

Dealing with bigots who wish "they never let the GAY MEN (sexist...) out of the insane asylum" so often, I tend to lose track of which bigot is which ;)

  • @Bossk333 I use the word "nigger", too. And "faggot". Hell, I'll even call myself a "cracker". OH NOES!

Grow up. I think saying "The 'N' word!" is more insulting then just saying "nigger", as long as it is used in context.

    Bawww.

Still care to explain your statement that you wish they never let gay men out of insane asylums?

  • @SmashtheCmachine Funny you bring up the 'N' word........ I was about 7-8 years old when I saw my first black man, my father was driving me through a section of town I'd never been through before, I asked him why that man was so horribly burnt up, he laughed at me and told me the man was a negro and that his skin color was black. Stupidly I recalled my classmates descriptions and said is that man 'N" word. I got slapped across the face and told to never utter that word again.

  • ......... Believe it not that happened @ 1960 and I never uttered that word again outloud. Even with my friends I never used that word.

  • @MrBenji44 I'm done discussing with the chump.

I have been taught that saying "the N word" was more insulting then saying... you get the picture. It's like an insult to intelligence, by trying to butter it up, as it were.

By saying "the 'N' word", not only do they know the word in question, and is similar to just out right saying it, but adds to it a demeaning quality to it.

It all depends on context. If you were to target someone with it as a racist slur, then yes: offensive *cont*

  • @MrBenji44 But a casual statement such as "So and so called my friend a nigger, and it pissed me off"...

See where I'm going with that?

At least that's what I'd been taught, concerning it.

A lot of the sentiments and opinions might be cultural, too.

  • @SmashtheCmachine My father was an enigma to me, he died in 1963 in a car accident, but owned several business back them. I remember he would not allow colored people into his restaurant, yet worked side by side with a black man in a lawn service venture and when it resulted into the black mans death not only contributed to the funeral but attended the service.

  • @MrBenji44 Wow, that's weird.

I never had many experiences involving racial issues with my family. But then the black people where I grew up were black panther (their equivalent to the kkk).

But one friend I met who was black told me that was how she felt about people saying it like so.

In short, she felt if it wasn't meant derogatorily: the word"nigger"was preferable to "the 'N' word.

But that might have just been her personal opinion.

But it made sense to me, when she explained it.

  • @SmashtheCmachine I have to admit that I never made friends with my fellow black students in high school, yet the truth be told there were only about 60 out of a thousand. My biggest experience with black people was in the Marine Corp back in '72. I had no experience or social interaction back then, but experience prevailed eventually.

  • @Bossk333 "These are human beings that we are talking about"

And now you're trying to take the moral high ground after you previously stated you wish gay men wouldn't have been let out of insane asylums!

    BUSTED!

    Try harder.

  • @Bossk333 Pardon me, but I really DO suspect a different standard between men and women fall into that category.

    Idiot.

  • @Bossk333 Oh, pardon me. You only said gay people shouldn't be let out of insane asylum. My bad.

    Jackass!

    Sexist: adjective

    1.

pertaining to, involving, or fostering sexism: a sexist remark; sexist advertising.

    Sexism: noun

    1.

attitudes or behavior based on traditional stereotypes of sexual roles.

    2.

discrimination or devaluation based on a person's sex, as in restricted job opportunities; especially, such discrimination directed against women.

  • This is the way GOD intended it to be!! You guys think you're so cocky, you're going STRAIGHT to HELL and there you can have a "gay marriage" with SATAN himself when he butt-rapes you every night....

  • @MrYahwehHimself and youll be going there to for unjustly judging people

you know if there was such a ploace

  • @idaman12345 I've studied the bible. And stating FACTS with what's in your fate is not judgement. Sorry.

I will be praying for you, though.

  • @MrYahwehHimself heres a fact for you

you have yet to state.any facts

  • @idaman12345 You will regret those words......... but hopefully not. I will pray for you.

  • @MrYahwehHimself you should know talking to yourself is a good sign of a mental illness, you should really stop doing that

  • @idaman12345

I talk to myself all the time though. :)

For example, I just recently watched an episode of the Golden Girls where Blanch's gay brother comes over, shows that he's in a relationship and tells her they're going to marry.

For anyone who has ever watched this episode, it's upped my love for the show and respect for Sophia (portrayed as a Catholic woman in the series) by 110%.

Blanch: I don't mind him being gay. I just don't see why he wants to wear a ring where all the

  • world to see it.

Sophia: Why did you and George marry?

Blanch: Because we loved each other. We wanted to make a lifetime comitment and we wanted everyone to know.

Sophia: THat's what Doug and Clayton want too. Everyone wants someone to grow old with, and shouldn't everyone have that chance?

Seriously, people need to stop being so damn uptight about it.

  • @idaman12345 commenting on you is me talking to myself? hmmm... talk about mental illness. happens when you dabble in all that Satanic stuff, too. Good bless.

  • @MrYahwehHimself My god blesses you, too. His name is lucifer. And I only worship him by default because you kkkristians can't debate FACT, so you make insinuations of devil worship so you can pat yourselves on the back and think you did a good job ;)

  • @MrYahwehHimself

Whatever helps you sleep at night.

May God forgive you in the end. :)

  • @MrYahwehHimself talking about you "praying" actually

good thing i dont dabble in satanic stuff then

  • @idaman12345 the moment you deny GOD you have gambled with the Devil!

  • @MrYahwehHimself i dont gamble, let alone with a fictional creature

    so quit lying

  • @MrYahwehHimself OH NOES! NOT THE BOOGY-DEVIL!

  • I believe most christians worship THEIR VERY OWN devil. Here's why:

The bible says "LOVE!", and then goes on to explain about eternally TORTURING people (forever). An act from a cruel (and evil) mind. So if they choose to follow the love: then that's quite awesome.

Should they choose to condemn and hate... well... that seems quite unlike any LOVING action I have ever heard of.

God is often called a parent. And HIS solution to misbehaving children? "SET THEM ON FIRE!"

    Yeah...

  • Comment removed

  • @MrYahwehHimself "And HIS solution to misbehaving children? "

exactly god is a HE, how did to you know???

and people don't get sent to hell, --- they send themselves!!!!!!"

Oh yeah! I forgot!!!! People just up and say "Hey, BURNING FOREVER JUST SOUNDS BLOODY AWESOME!!!!" and just up and ship themselves down to that little inferno!

Jesus fucking christ, you christians are thoroughly screwed in the head.

  • @SmashtheCmachine No, they send themselves by DENYING THE GRACE OF THE LORD GOD HE , HIMSELF , FATHER

    CREATOR OF ALL!!

  • @MrYahwehHimself Yes, I know. According to you whack jobs, the greatest crime isn't murder or raping babies. THOSE can be forgiven. Just don't stroke god's e-peen, that'll earn his eternal wrath!

  • @SmashtheCmachine haha, well, its not like that, indeed people will not just up and say, "Gee, I want to go to hell." No, they go there based on their choices and behavior, because in the end your choices make you who you are, and people who did terrible things, such making others believe that being gay is a sin, those liars will most likely go to hell.

  • @SmashtheCmachine God is referred to as a he because sexist old men who translated the Bible decided to make Him a he. The pronoun just stuck. Would you prefer I refer to God a she and confused everybody? And no, going to hell doesn't work that way. You go because you say, "Hey, having sex before marriage, cursing, and stealing sound like a good time! Let's do it and laugh at this so-called 'god'!" You poor misguided atheists are the one screwed in the head.

  • @theflamingmonkeyking It doesn't matter if a fictitious character is called "he" OR "she".

    How's that.

  • @SmashtheCmachine That awkward moment when over 3.6 billion of Earth's 7 billion people disagree with God being a fictitious character.... (Christians, Muslim, and Jews)

  • @theflamingmonkeyking Meanwhile, none of them can agree on who, exactly, this god really is.

IF God exists, I'll wait to MEET HIM(her?) before I decide to open my mouth and speak for him.

Until then, you guys can continue bickering about your own special name brand "God" ("name brand" - Christian, Muslim, "Jews"...) amongst yourselves, while people like me sit back and consider ALL y'all idiots.

  • @theflamingmonkeyking There's a REASON I'm agnostic. It's not so much that I, personally, don't believe in "GOD" (minimal belief, at best). But I also believe that all organized religions are bullshit "Name brand god".

Thus, I tend to relate more to atheists: at least they aren't into the petty "MY god is better!" bullshit, and simply state the fact they don't believe because they see no proof.

    My salutes to THEM.

  • @SmashtheCmachine I agree on the 'name brand god' thing; there's too much of, "Oh, you don't believe EXACTLY what I believe, so my god doesn't love you." Most organized religions are as you say, too. However, I prefer to salute those who don't allow old white men to tell them what to believe. Those who love God and Jesus and follow no religious rules but the ones in the Bible.

  • @theflamingmonkeyking Oh, and God is neither him nor her. God just is. And I'm sorry that zealots put you off of what is truly a good thing. Unfortunately, like Islam, Christianity is so poorly represented in the world.

  • @theflamingmonkeyking God, I sure hope you don't follow THOSE rules... remind me not to have you anywhere near while I'm working on Sunday... (Exodus 31:12-15 NLT)

"I repeat: Because the LORD considers it a holy day, anyone who works on the Sabbath must be put to death.'...

I'm also glad that this country doesn't see it similarly, I doubt we'd have doctors left, since emergencies happen on sunday, too...

  • @SmashtheCmachine When Jesus died it became unnecessary to celebrate the Sabbath. That's why Jews do and Christians don't. And since murder is both obviously wrong and against one of our beliefs, why in the world would I even CONSIDER committing an act like that, against you or anyone. I'm really offended by your implications there.

  • @theflamingmonkeyking Not too sorry for offending, I hate to say. Not to be everything I hate in people.

However: the fact we know murder is wrong, yet according to the bible, god specifically tells people to stone others to death really lays it out on how immoral the bible really is, and I really hope I helped you obtain a greater insight as to why I don't follow any organized religion, or so-called "holy books".

Want to know God? Listen to your conscience. Not a book.

  • @SmashtheCmachine There are many mistranslations, misinterpretations, and edits in the Bible. We don't understand God's ways. Though, sometimes, mostly due to the aforementioned reasons, I question the reliability of the Bible. I'll never question God, though. I didn't mean to offend gays. My relationship with them is more of a 'hate the game, not the player' deal, but I'm not the most gentle or eloquent person in the world.

  • @theflamingmonkeyking I've gotten past that. Gay people are just people. Like me. I think I would love my wife with all my heart even were I female, so when you look at it like THAT, I think being gay is a lot more understandable.

I'm at the point where I'm okay with anything, within reason. I.E. consensual, harmless.

After all, your love life is none of my business... why are gay people's love lives yours?

I'm just happy when there's LOVE involved.

  • @theflamingmonkeyking Why even "hate the game"? Your love life is none of MY business... so why are gay people's love lives YOURS? Me, I'm just content for there to be love among them, and see nothing wrong with that. In fact, I suspect that's the reason for gay folk: people who love each other who can't have children seems to match up perfectly with foster children, and kids who need loving homes!

I just killed two birds with one stone.

  • @SmashtheCmachine The only reason I hate the 'game' is because I believe it's morally wrong. I'm not going to beat gays over the head with my Bible or anything. Besides, gay is no more of a sin than lying or stealing is. I agree with you on the foster children, and it's hard to argue against that without looking like a major jerk. But... I am concerned with the possible repercussions (did I use that word right?) that may come with a child having two parents of the same gender.

  • @theflamingmonkeyking OMG, how silly you sound Jesus was a Jew, not a Christian. and it was a Roman Emperor that moved the 'day of rest' from the traditional Sabbath practiced in the OT to what is known as Sunday for the Christians

  • @MrBenji44 Okay, you're thinking of Jew as in a race, which Jewish is not. Jew is a religion, and obviously Jesus can't be of a religion that doesn't believe in Him. As for the Sabbath thing, that was my mistake. But my point still stands.

  • @theflamingmonkeyking No I'm Not, of course I know the Jews are not a race but instead a religious group. Jesus was a Jew and kept the Sabbath, he did not always adhere to a lot of the OT, as he admonished the Pharisees when they chastised his disciples for not washing their hands enough before eating. You have a paradox here, where he claims not to overturn the OT, yet does in what he considers minor things.

  • @theflamingmonkeyking

and how is saying the Jeses was a jew (which he was) imply judaism as being a race?

    My parents are Lutheran.

Oh no! According to your logic, I just said that Lutherans are a race! What shall we do?

    Grow some brain cells.

  • Re-watch the video and read the text...funniest stuff ever, it hardly goes along with what he's saying...almost contradictory in fact.

I do, however, see a couple problems with gays, besides my religious beliefs. Children are learning about this at too young of an age. I remember when my nephew was in Kindergarten and the school was having to explain to them that a certain child there had two dads...forcing him to think about it, now he's curious about sex even before middle school, so wrong.

  • @TheBosstrain Yeah, because the last thing you want is a child who's CURIOUS. I mean, you haven't even gotten the chance to brainwash him into the fundie sex=evil garbage yet! Like most people I got The Talk before middle school, so YOU'RE the weird one, sorry.

  • @psycher7 It is very obvious that you are not a parent, nor are you associated with any. Come back when you have some experience.

  • @TheBosstrain 'Raises hand' Hey, I'm a parent, been married to my wife for 30 years and have a 25 year old married daughter who is with child, about to make me a grandpa. She,my daughter found it easier to talk to me then her mother on a lot of things, although we broached sex rarely in conversation, I did talk to her about people of different backgrounds, race, sexuality and religion. As my beliefs were that no one should be bullied for any reason because they are different.

  • @MrBenji44 Good, glad you're not married to anyone else other than your wife...I couldn't help myself, sorry, but you know that was funny :D. My belief is that a child should be taught about certain things at certain ages. I wished my parents had told me that my curiosity about women was normal, but both my parents were so up tight that they couldn't. 12 to 13 are good ages for the discussion, 5 is not, in my opinion; this is my point, too young, especially for gay discussions ;).

  • @MrBenji44 It's unnecessarily too confusing. I also strongly believe that one is not born gay, it's illogical and there is no proof. Let's have facts, not fiction. There is, however, proof that durring a child's development, certain things, like trauma from divorce or isolation from bullying, can mold a young person to grow up homosexual. I think parents need to take responsibility, and not just say "oh, they must have been born like that". I have a bullshit sensor, by the way.

  • @TheBosstrain Google Swedish study of gay men's brains; "In other words, structurally, at least, the brains of gay men were more like heterosexual women, and gay women more like heterosexual men." Also 'male hormones in the womb may effect sexual orientation": Marc Breedlove, professor of psychology, also found that higher levels of these male hormones, or androgens, can create a greater than normal tendency for both males and females to develop a homosexual orientation.

  • ...... Crap, Also Google 'Male Hormones in the womb may effect sexual orientation"

  • @MrBenji44 I'm only curious, were these studies done on individuals that grew up in strong households with both parents, niether of which overbearing? Also, did they do well in school, not only academically but socially? Did these unassertive parents maintain discipline as well as set good morals and values? Lastly, was there a lot of violence, either from the parents, or even just from the movies they watched? Remember, my bullshit cutter is in full gear. :D

  • @MrBenji44 I will give you this, all women are born with some very small bisexual tendencies, even if they deny it profusely. Not that I believe polygamy is acceptable, especially not in today's world in more western culture, I'm only using this as an example. Since the Scriptures do allow for it, I think women were given a slight attraction to other females merely to make them get along a little better, especially in sexual relations with the husband.

  • @TheBosstrain It is very obvious that I will make a much better parent than you ever will. Come back when you have some humanity.

  • @psycher7 Last time I checked I was fully human, but thanks anyway. ;)

  • @TheBosstrain

There's a difference between having the physicality of a human being and treating people like human beings vs launching into a torrent of lude and inappropriate assertions and inuendos directed towards them.

Something the people of this ad fail to make the distinction on.

  • @GojyotheFeared Don't mind me because I can be a bit of an ass sometimes, but I think the people in this ad were displaying great control actually. A lot of people tend to forget and let themselves be worked up over some comments, when about 60-70 years ago homosexuals lived in fear of being lynched. In other words, the idea of being "scared straight" had a totally different meaning back then. The further back you go in US history the less gays you find...alive that is. :D

  • @GojyotheFeared All I'm saying is that this ad is extremely mild. If society were still just as barbaric as we used to be, this would ad would be a message to all gays that their days are numbered...you must think of things in context and not just get your panties in a bunch over a few people expressing their concerns. ;) Think about it...that's all I'm asking...now is it still inappropriate? Or highly controlled in comparison?

  • @TheBosstrain

yet the truth is, the fear hasn't passed. There are still people out there who would rather kill a gay man or use psychological warfare on them rather than accept that some people are just not attracted to the opposite gender.

Or have you forgotten how a man was essentially kidnapped, tortured and beaten then left for dead tied to a fence? or how about the barn that was torched killing severall horses in the process, including one that never got the chance to take it's first

  • breath of life, simplybecause the owner of the barn and horses was gay with the words "faggots will burn in hell" spraypainted on the side?

Yes, we have taken steps on becoming more civilized, but don't make the mistake that the fear and anguish gay people face has deminished.

There's even instances where gay students have been denied rights to go to their own prom simply because of their sexuality.

One such instance, the were falsely lead to believe they were going to the prom and yet

  • came to find that they, with the acception of a few "special" students, were the only ones there while the real prom was being held elsewhere.

As for their "concerns" they are just absurdities.

"They want to bring it into my life"

and how is a gay couple marrying "coming into his life"? Explain that to me. Once again, not a concern. An absurdity.

Or how about, "I'm a California doctor being forced to choose between my faith and my job."?

So if say that a gay man is in critical

  • condition, and yet can make a full and complete recovery with the proper medical care that she has and obligated by the state to treat people regardless of whether they can pay or not, it's her faith to simply let him die or her job and provide the right care and treatment to save the man's life?

That just doesn't make any sense.

once again, an absurdity and no, this is not an absurd scenario concocted by a pro gay rights person because you and I both know there are people out there who

  • @GojyotheFeared Ah, so you want to play that way :D. Sure, there is still some oppression against gays, but if that's the case then they should simply move to San Francisco. You can't say that gays deserve more compassion than the white family on vacation that simply makes a wrong turn into the wrong black neighborhood and gets riddled with lead. Or the black man that walks home at night from a corner store and gets curb stomped by Nazi wannabes.

  • @TheBosstrain "Sure, there is still some oppression against gays, but if that's the case then they should simply move to San Francisco..."

They're being oppressed, and YOUR solution is that they uproot and move elsewhere...?!

    WRONG!

The cops should do their fucking job to protect them, as tax paying citizens.

  • @SmashtheCmachine Newsflash, genius, that was joke...don't comment if you're not going to read the rest of my post, okay. If you had, you would have realized that I was being sarcastic and really just brushing off homosexual oppression as laughable in comparison to the harsh reality of everyday oppression on a much larger scale. I.e. gays, in many cases, have it a lot easier than others, and I mentioned that city merely because it's one of several that openly support them.

  • @TheBosstrain Newsflash (genius), swap gays for black folk, and see how it sounds!

"Sure, there is still some bigotry against blacks, but if that's the case they should simply move away from the white supremacists...."

You're right! I see how HILARIOUS that is, now ;)

    Idiot.

  • @SmashtheCmachine Well, then it would still be just as ridiculous, I would say: What about the gays, what about the kids, what about the women, etc. You, sir, are the imbecile to think one group is above the others. You still do not understand my point, try again.

  • @TheBosstrain Did I say any one group were above anyone else? Or are you simply trying to suggest I implied it?

It is clear you're talking shit, and are relying on appeal to ridicule because I rightly called you a dick ;)

  • @SmashtheCmachine Allow me to pull you off your high horse. It's foolish to think someone should move due to persecution, doing so would be like giving in to blackmail or terroristic threats.

Again, my post was a joke, only a moron would take it seriously, which you're obviously professing to be. Simultaneously I was also listing one of many places that
