you have a good point. however, police department nowadays are actually going through a strict background recruitment process....the individual police officer may not be the problem, many times its the person being detained who is causing the problem. Rodney king was actually fighting back with the officers which anyone in their right mind should never do...i put the blame on the people and npot so much on police, though i understand there are some bad apples.
i think most of the cops in LA think they are the sh.t. i saw two cops in a patrol car on a stop sign flirting with a asian girl.she keep walking.i think she had scare .
I wish you had gotten the patrol car number and time of the day, and sent a letter to the chief of police, either with or without your name. Your letter may have been the one that triggered disciplinary action.
when a group of people come together with out some wiser figure, or just some one who knows a little bit more about the subject than the students bad things can happen. a higher figure dosnt necessarily mean " higher law" or a " governing figure" just some one who is wise that can balance the discussion or idea that is being offered . thus navigation any possibility of hierarchy and aiding in enlightenment.

Women also keep quite, because they feel that the upper authorities are just going to say that they are lying on the officer. Officers are suppose to serve and protect. If we can't trust our police officers, than who can we trust? No one but GOD. yes, we can stop the officers by our women speaking out and not caring about what people say. We have got to stand up for ourselves in this community and not be afraid.
I agree with this video because there are many women in Tuskegee that are being taken advantage of by some of the police officers. Many women feel like they will not be heard so they just keep quit. They also feel that the upper authorities will get paid just to keep their secrets quit. Police Officers feel that they can get away with it because they are officers of the law.
