I was first interested in Clinton (it's a female thing) and then she lost me with her health reform policy. I can't sway myself toward Obama, I agree with nothing he has to say. I am also ashamed at this moment to say I voted Republican last election and so I can't vote for another hypocrite. Is it to late for a Native American to run for office ? I'll seriously just be glad when this entire "election" drama is over, the commercial ads on television are driving me insane. great video
This is a valid point. Ignorance showing up at the polls pulling levers hurts everyone. Informed people should vote responsibly. Uninformed people should consider staying home, and maybe think about becoming more informed. This is not a horse race, or a popularity contest. We are voting for serious things here. It should be taken seriously.
He's the one candidate with most support except that e-voting machine companies owned by Cheneys stock are flipping votes. Compare Ron Pauls map with other "front-runner" ronpaul[DOT]meetup[DOT]com/about .. And DO VOTE, request paper ballots, and make general elections day a holiday with public vote counting.
Exit polls showed "100-more-years-in-Iraq" McCain has been winning the majority of the antiwar vote in the GOP primaries. Many of the respondents believed McCain oppose the war.
Do the country a favor, if you don't care then don't vote.
Hm, wonder why my comment didn't go through? Anyway, you're right. People should vote based on ideas and history, not race, colour, etc. I was rooting for Kucinich, but then he dropped out. Now all that's left is Obama.
After reading everything, even though I'm Canadian, if I were in the US I wanted Kucinich. He had good ideas. Sadly, he dropped.
Though, you are right. People shouldn't vote just because of race, gender, etc. They should vote upon the ideas each candidate says.(Research their history as well)
And don't forget that you can't just listen to what a candidate says, most of them are in the business of lying. You have to read between the lines and look at their history/record/associations.
Its your civic duty to vote. Please don't just think of America, think about the rest of the world. America dominates the world. We can't vote for your President in non-American countries yet they have the power to dictate what happens in our countries. The policies and their priorities are the direction you decide for the world. Voting is compulsory in Australia, its our duty, just like tax or a census. Think about that over apathy. Blessings +++ The Saint +++
I wish everyone would be involved in our politial system, but more importantly, I wish everyone would inform themselves before becoming involved. Unfortunately, there are those who just won't.
(Don't let the title of this video mislead you, I do think voting is important. That's why I'd rather people not vote if they don't care)
The same in NZ, Switzerland, and Brazil and many other countries. It looks like there is confusion in the collegian system where they make promises and policy by press release. So there is little substance to what they promise. I can see what a headache you guys have in deciding, OK, do I choose bad or worse? Also listening carefully to what they are saying behind the hype, I think you end up voting for what you don't want rather than what you want. Blessings +++ The Saint +++
so who do you want to win...in your opinion? i'm an obama person myself. i don't particularly like researching, but do think it necessary. i would much prefer to simply turn on the tv and see what they believe. haha. i'm so lazy.
All the current politicians do not seem to care about anything except getting power. Neither party seems to care about the people or the Country. They should not even be allowed to retain their current position while running for president. All of them are sub par this election.
Your Vote Counts.

you're vote really does'nt matter, it's the lobbyists and their money who's vote matters.
high intrest credit cards = lobbyists
big tabacco / 100k dead yearly = lobbyists
non universal health care = A.M.A lobbyists
High gas prices = foreign arab oil lobbyists
and so on and so on. basically, we are our own worst enemy.
truthnadvertizing 4 years ago
I did the research and I'm STILL not voting. Why? They are ALL douche bags!
WolfSyndrome 4 years ago
LOL. I'm not happy with any of them really either.
At my primary, I voted for someone who already dropped out, just to show where my support really was.
AdymPerry 4 years ago
My sentiments exactly.
They all are just out to rape you in their own special way or in their own particular favorite orifice. Each according to their own sick fetish.
Politicians PRETENDING to care about you is nothing more than the "WILL YOU BE MY FRIEND?" syndrome.

enjoyed the 2nd-half collage o' goodies. :)
and i would endorse *most* of what you said in the first half, as well.
except, if you're not the kind of person, who finds out about the issues, and then votes on them?
imho, you should get informed, and get involved. this country can't survive any more ingorance and apathy.
my15minutes 4 years ago
heh. figures, my one typo would be on the word ignorance. :)
yeah. just please, everyone.
find an issue or two, that you care deeply about, and find the candidate that agrees with you the most, and vote for them.
vote, or gtfo. :)
my15minutes 4 years ago
yeah, I agree, but there's just always going to be people who don't care to find out anything about the candidates or issues.
I would prefer people get informed, but if they're not going to, I'll encourage them to not vote :)

Hmmm, I hear everyone saying that, but he just doesn't seem to be doing well.

That's because the few people that are Ron Paul obsessed are VERY noisy. They're the smallest group of supporters, yet by far the loudest.

I agree with you on two counts:
1. If you don't feel like researching candidates or propositions, please don't vote
and
2. please don't vote
Seriously, what better way to exercise our freedom than 0 voter turnout. That would sure send a message to Washington.
also, I like how you put Election Skank in the background. :D
