Still have an Acadiane. Very bashed now due to English twat drivers. They are so selfish and stupid, they don't give way to Ambulances, in case 'their alloy wheels get 'scuffed! When you pull over to let an emergency vehicle pass(you've heard and seen it 500 metres ago) an English driver,passes by calls you a wanker and obstructs the emergency vehicle-total tossers!

Most drives pull over in a position that does not allow the ambulance to pass anyway. Especially those with hang gliders on the roof! How many accidents do the emergency services cause? How often are they just last for tea? How many people let them pass only to follow as close as they can to get home for their tea?

We did'nt destroy the Acadiane(initially). I was returning from a weekends'hangliding at Corton, when I was forced into a ditch by oncoming vehicle driven by person distracted by a 'phone call! They did'nt notice nor stop. I lost a valued vehicle..again!

Amen to that! Atleast the body panels are a sinch to replace (I have a 1965 2CV that my Pa and I took off the front fenders and hood so we could fix the engine.) so I know my 2CV's

One very important lesson in life, 2CV's cannot be driven on two wheels with their standard setup, you'll just go back on all fours. Makes ya wonder how an ancient car like this can't tip\roll that easily yet you always see and hear about modern SUV's in the US on their sides\upside down.
