I doubt chicho really said that, but is it really important. The only thing we can say about this is whether we like it or not. We can´t judge if it´s tango or not, if it´s good or bad. Let´s try to respect more the artists.

@Jantango I think there is a misunderstanding. This is exactly tango. Chicho maybe talking about the real feelings of the tango when we are dancing in the milonga.

The problem is that we missed something in the teaching, I take total responsibility, and other colleagues should do so as well. I can’t pass on what I have learned. Currently, not only has the essence been lost but the weight of the dance as well, its density and importance. To me, this new tango lost a bit of the respect for what tango is.

@Henry124 Dear friend, I totally agree with chicho. But his point is that, when he teachs the students lost the real point. This does not mean that chicho is losting the real point. While watching them, - I was there during this performance-, I can easily see their emotion...They are dancing tango. But, Most of the people learning only movements do not.

@tangomuzi Emotion isnt something you can show with faces or movements... Professional dancers can act very well. Im one of them so i can tell. Emotion is something you feel in deep inside of YOU. Anything else you watch on someone dancing is musicality or esthetics... not emotion. Maybe you can dance something that make watchers feel emotion. Chicho is great on this. But it doesnt mean he is feeling any emotion. Thats what nuevo is for: cause emotion. What chicho call essence is feel, not cause

@Henry124 Emotion is deep inside in his eyes. Not everytime...But most of the time... Every people watching a performance can easily undertsand if you feel inside or just making role..This is not about the face or movements.
