my dads 379 peterbilt goes 127mph. we took it into CAT and they ran diagnostics on it and it said top speed how many times its been there, HP, stuff like that. but yup 127, thats fast for something thats size going down the road, nice vid man!
Yea, triple digits in Wyoming is what it's all about- as long as nobody else or animals are around. My top speed: 195...UPHILL...on US 287. I had 600 rpm left before rev-limiting and could easily have broken 200mph. But hey, the difference would have been like being parked and someone running past at 5-10mph hour. No difference. Be safe
200km/h seems a bit more correct, lol. that would be about 120mph, which isn't un heard of in a truck, my dad had a 13 double over and 3.90's and could get about 110mph.
shit i drove a 2007 freightlinter with a 550 cat bumped to a 600 18 speed 110 was no problem and it was a coal bucket
