  • Hey does any 1 remember his songs called ... Baby fall down & the sixties ... can not find here , thanks Pico

  • Sounds kinda like old johnny cash

  • hes makin a soundtrack for the hunger games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I find it amazing that even here in the UK that even in the 21st Century our own people are suffering! I feel that a Dark Age is a foot come 2012 a new black death will arise not the end of the world that fiction and cult has written in doctrine!!!

  • @2490debrick Optimism is the key. Enjoy the music for what it is. Relax. Take a stock of beef jerky if you were previously worried along with sunglasses, a lawn chair, and a solid metal door. There. Doesn't that feel better?

I worry sometimes, too, all jokes aside. But unless you can do something about the unknown, focus on the more immediate issues.

Like politics. Economy. Enviromental issues in your town. What you can do to help them. Write letters. Pick up garbage. All of that. Good luck.

  • That guitar gets me. I love this!

  • reminds me of everything wrong in the world... a journey of your enemies peril, i pray they see the light.

  • Yesenia gets a book deal? Explain?

  • where can i get better quality version of this video? i extract aac file from this video and it's 1.96mb....

  • MASTERPIECE! ;-)

  • The Dude told me to come and I abide.

  • 337 people had soul and 10 are soulless.

  • I abide.

  • Wow -- amazing song. In a word: "haunting."

  • underrated!

  • cool tune, thanks dude!

  • thumbs up if jeff bridges sent u here.

  • MY GOD!

Does this remind anyone else of Timbre Timber!?

  • @peteball31 yeah! haha

  • Dudely dude ;)

  • T Bone Burnett is a legend, and this is a fine example of his work.

  • @chicagotransam You clearly have no idea what your talking about....

  • @chicagotransam 1st: he's not The Dude, he's Jeff Bridges. The Dude is a character. 2nd: if you think this is rubbish, that's fine -- we all have our opinions -- but Jeff Bridges has a long association and mutual respect for T. Bone Burnett and very much likes his music (as do many of us). 3rd: Jeff Bridges isn't hurting for cash and doesn't need to "try to make ends meet" by promoting things he doesn't believe in. 4th: if you're going to make critical comments at least try to be intelligent.

  • thumbs up if THE DUDE sent u here.

  • @zomaster1 yes dude

  • Tabs anyone?? :)

  • haunting,sad,beautiful&chilling....i've loved his music since "rolling thunder". i hope he never ever stops!!!!! simply the best!!!!

  • so hauntingly honest and awkward.

I saw him play this at ACL and it was the best live performance I've ever seen. Partially because I was so unnerved. Partially because I identified in way too many of the lyrics.

  • Blusenia said it Best..you certianly know your Music and ppl

  • This performance is, simply put, both cerebral and orgasmic. T Bone is one righteous dude. His brilliance has been working on us for years, but this personal delivery is more savory than his namesake. He is so full of the human heart, hope, our certain fall, and our beloved saving grace. Also, I now have a mad, all-consuming crush on him. Swoon!

  • The man has a good dose of genius in him.

  • Reminds me all too much of late Johnny Cash meets Modest Mouse. I dig it though. Peace. -Cody Lee Meece

  • god i love my t-bone!! the best!

  • Does anybody have tabs for this?

  • Does anybody have tabs for this?

  • Wow! Really simplistic and awesome! My first time to hear this song and I love it, don't even want to hear another version!

  • hauntingly beautiful... i crave to see this live.

  • hauntingly beautiful...

  • Damn, goosebumps!

  • he's one of the best ever !!!!!

  • Eh. Kind of lame.

  • the tuning is D A F G A D (instead of E A D G B E), the picking can be made out quite easily in the vid.

in case anybody was interested... ;)

  • i could kill for the tabs ._.

  • so bare-bones....so haunting....love it.

  • @nathanellis5 This would be an excellent work for you to generate the tab for yourself. You have video of much of the guitar work, and the rest you should be able to fill in by ear. I've been developing my ear and it's amazing what you can accomplish if you work at it. GIve it a try!

  • Brrrrr

  • Chilly... Burrrr... Crazy Heart looks and sounds amazing. Really Hopin' to see it soon.

  • Would anyone happen to have tabs for this?

  • really where else can you find this sound? It's amazing ^_^

  • Its crazy how different this is from the origional. Its sung pretty much the same, the guitar is even the same, but without the other instruments its a totally different feel. This is my prefered version. T Bone Burnett is another inspiration for this generations folk and blues musicans.

  • @SixStringPaladin yeah, well you know, that's just like your opinion man

  • deep deep one of kind

  • The guitar looks like an Kay K-161 Thin Twin

  • They've just reissued it.

  • he looks so dirty with that hair!!!!!

  • haha!

    Goddamn your right!

    Peace and love from Holland!

  • Watch out Leonard Cohen. This is some haunting, haunting sh*t. I want more.

  • It´s genius!

only the fact of the cis-m!

like in the song HERE COME THE PHILISTINES

    perfect

  • Chillsville...I saw him do this in Golden Gate park yesterday evening...Alison and Robert were there too

  • good stuff

  • what guitar is that? Dylan at 80-90's had one of that instrument

  • its a kay thin twin a.k.a the jimmy reed model

  • Thank you. I've seen the model in google. I come from Spain, and that kind of guitars doesn't exists. Thanks again

  • it exists its just not made still, you have to buy old ones

  • No it's just been reissued.

  • My comment on this video:

    SIMPLICITY = PERFECTION!

  • "Cant stop listening to this song."

'Does Anyone out there on YouTube know what

    'Tuning' He's playing in' ????

  • Hit me good and proper. Not musical but life?

  • Haunting ... chicken skin music, as Ry Cooder would call it, at its best. His singing reminds me of Bob Dylan's "Time Out Of Mind" Album (which is great stuff, too). And WHAT a guitar sound!

  • "One of the'Oldschool' Legends".

    GREAT!!!!!!

  • Thanks for sharing. Simply great!

  • Haunting.

  • "Catfish!"

  • What a song!!1 Thanks Suuzzee!

  • WOW This is awesome. Very Good. Thank you suz!

  • Thanks for pointing me to this very beautiful performance! Very moving.

  • never heard this guys stuff before and I have to say I am well impressed.

  • T-Bone has mostly works behind the scenes of the music industry as he was the musical director for "O Brother Where Art Thou," "I Walk The Line" and "Cold Mountain." He also produced the new Robert Plant/Allison Krause disc, "Raising Sand."

  • and hes working on producing new albums for Costello, BB King, John Mellencamp, and the Who, as well as playing with Plant and Krauss.

    he is one busy guy.

  • He's also doing a seperate collaboration album with Robert Plant.

  • He was one of the guitarists.

  • better than the album version

  • Infinitely better.

  • Outstanding....

  • Haunting and amazing!

  • Best Musician of the ERA

  • Chills down my spine.

    The lyrics are just superb...

  • Great choice to upload. Thx for it!

  • What to say. Ouch ! Going deep but stiil light as a ballad. T Bone mastering his art...

  • antispamdinista, i can understand you, i feel the fire too

  • A genius and legend in his own time.

  • As someone going through the ending of a broken relationship, I feel the fire of conviciton in me when I hear this song. Deeply powerful.

  • This is a man with a great critical atitude and producing great art. Live culture, don't consume it. DOWN WITH CAPITALIST CULTURE; DOWN WITH TOTALITARISM; FOR REAL LIFE!

  • Excellent song, thanks for uploading!
