  • wow I played this when I was four years old back in the 80's.

  • This is real ;-) Actual video footage taken during the Falklands War.

  • My favourite game from my childhood :P Many people play this in socialistic Czechoslovakia :)

  • I think this game was eerily timed, a year after the Falklands War (where I live) notice how you start and end the mission on a carrier, the enemy planes look like mirage's etc etc...btw the Harrier is a cracking little plane...silly of the UK to be taking them out of service.

  • Programmed in 100% machine code!

  • My 1st game ever, you made it look easy, it kept me quiet for hours.

    Good times.

    Thanks for posting

  • "computer"

  • Superb game. I still play it from time to time. Remembers my childhood. Mike Richardson is the master!

  • kinhell

    smart wasnt it

  • this was a really good game sure these game made a game called scuba diver and that was good aswell

  • Cassic game. Loved the way your mission is to bomb the crap out of a civillian target. Lol.

  • Those bombs were a few strays apart from the rest of them which were friendly fire.

  • The city at the end, my friend, is the most profitable part of the game, and a civilian, urban dwelling.

I always saved my ALL bombs for that. Though I did use my rockets prior to that. The warship right at the begining, for instance, you could fly straight through and obliterate with your rockets.

  • Yeah, loads of points for the city and you can't really miss. I like to think of the buildings as housing human shields, that way the guilt factor goes completely out the window rather like the glass!

  • Human shields! Lol. Like it. I never thought of it that way when I was a boy(this was pre-Gulf War of course). I just thought of Reagan bombing Grenada and Lybia... only, since the game used Harriers, this was Brits getting in on the act.

  • The good old days when you knew who the enemy was(?). Nowadays...Ronald Reagan was a great actor. Harriers are better suited to a speccy game rather than the Flaklands!!!

  • Classic

  • I'm the Jack-of-all games and Master of some! The game is quite short. Would have been better if there was more to it.

  • Great looking game for the time. I use to play it. Tended to get too hard too quick.

  • It's quite an easy game to complete if you try and avoid the planes. Though saying that this was on the easy level.

  • Easy for you the Master of all Speccy games. I liked the way the flak hits the sky around the plane.
