I really hate this type of comment. First off, American Football is balls to the wall pure awesome. Rugby is also completely awesome. We should as fans of sport appreciate all world games. Aaron Curry is the absolute perfect for Julian Peterson. Both are massive players who are freakishly athletic for their size. Both are famed coverage LBs, and pass rushers, but Curry seems more physical and better against the run. Both have earned the nickname "The Freak" for a reason. I cannot think of a more complete OLB in the league than J Pete, and Curry is in the exact same mold. He will be the most versitle OLB in the league. No man Currys size should be allowed to be that fast or agile.

they don't have the exact same offense but it is similar. While USC does run a pro style offense Seattle runs a west coast offense, and while IMO Barkley is a good fit for the WCO, he would need a year or two on the bench to learn it because its an extremly complex offense.

Seattle will likely draft someone sooner. I'm thinking one of the 2010 picks will be for a QB somewhere in the top 3 rounds. Barkley won't be available for at least 3 years.

Yea no doubt, I really like Barkley but I think that Seattle would rather have a guy lined up to take over rather than relying on a rookie once Hasselbeck calls it quits.

If he were to declare in 2011 I would definitly want him to be drafted by Seattle, but I think Seattle gets their QB of the future in this years draft.

Mike Teel is also an interesting prospect. Great arm, great leader, gritty, and scrappy. He showed great promise this preseason. Maybe he is Seattle's future at QB?

why not? Teel has the prototypical size for an NFL QB, and has elite arm strength and accuracy. True he had an up and down college career, but he improved each and every season.

With a few years behind a fellow 6th round draft pick in Hasselbeck, I think Teel can at the very least be a solid player in the NFL. I think he deserves a shot.

Teel reminds me a lot of Hasselbeck coming out of college. Both were stars on a small college team, had elite arms, had up and down college careers but progressed every year, very competive players, and took chances on the field.

Teel has everything that you can't teach a QB. Arm strength, quick release, good size, some speed. He needs work on his reads and decision making, but QBs have coaches for a reason. I think Teel would have been a steal for any team, i was happy to see hm go to Seatle
