  • THANKS

  • The singer is the twist brother of the 80's Greek actor Alekos Tzanetakos!

  • @brazilianos969 Cos like he's way more well known than Noddy Holder isn't he?????

  • This stuff is so good it just aint funny, oh yeah, after the platform boot were gonna open up a can of sideburns!!

  • It's such a shame that Slade never really had success in America. I remember they were supposed to open for Ozzy on his BARK AT THE MOON tour in 1984..they were riding the success of KEEP YOUR HANDS OF MY POWER SUPPLY..but they had to cancel out because Jim had heppatitus ..so Ratt ended up filling the bill..needless to say Ratt was booed off the stage.

  • Looking at Noddy and I smile!!

  • yesss i like slade humm

  • WHY did i just have to sit through a green giant advert with kids trying to high five him?

  • These boys knew how to have a LOT of fun. Short, sweet, and right to the point...ROCK! I saw them long ago with Aerosmith, and Thin Lizzie.(St. Paul) As the show turned out, Aerosmith sucked (too drunk, they were) Thin Lizzie...Slade blew them all away

  • my mum got me into slade and i blooody love them (got to have a break between dubstep every now and then right)

  • @DanielDumile You are a moron...and seemingly quite happy to show us all.

  • Turn it up to 11 !!!

  • Oh my god did u c what was coming next? - Kate Bush thank god it stopped.

  • Whos the best lead singer Noddy or Jagger?

  • @ajay999999 They are both the best! By the way:I always considered Slade a younger brother of The Rolling Stones but Mr Richards made the far most the best (guitar) intro's

  • @ajay999999 noddy of course ! 40 ans déjà !

  • this band looks like they actually enjoy performing.

  • Great tune, great video, great band. Nuff sed!

  • I saw the Slade in the late 60's when they were a skinhead band!!

  • Garbage band, no talent and ripped off many artists.

  • @DanielDumile really, can you name one?

  • @xomthood Can you open your ears?

Just listen to all their songs!

The Police AND Chubby Checker...that's TWO!

  • @DanielDumile Slade significantly pre-date The Police. And everyone has to draw inspiration from somewhere.

  • @Arran64 Inspiration, stealing...same shit.

  • A great band from the 70's

  • Slade were the first band to say "join in", you the crowd are part of the experience so come on, let's all rock together.

  • They are amazing at playing music, but not at spelling lol

  • classic classic classic

  • If anyone even TRIES to "dislike" this you'll find my platformed boot up your ass.

  • @allendl181 HOW BIGS THE BOOT BIG BOY ?

  • @allendl181 foot wedgie

  • Notice how daves got one leg on a chair throughout the vid. Hes actually got a busted ankle and hes in plaster. He bust it running away from fans whilst wearing platform boots.

  • Noddy Holder - WOT A LEGEND!

  • foogit bowie...these guys blew them away, really. ronson vs. hill...a whole nother topic, tho

  • Slade started out a skinhead band. Changed their image and cracked it!!

  • @daltonaleksinac: Thank you for the upload. I saw Slade in the summer of '75. They were unknown to me at the time. They were the opening act of a show that included R.E.O. Speedwagon, and the headliner Aerosmith. Slade, by far, outrocked either of the other two bands that day. They kicked major ass. Next day, I had their albums. Still do. Keep rockin'. Take care.

  • you bet st louis in the 70 's the last hippy speaks. the day man what she 's aq yeah kshe lives

  • first heavy metal band....rock on Noddy

  • @lennydylan I wouldn't call them first heavy metal band as Black Sabbath and Deep Purple were already out. But I would say that they were the first Glam Metal or Pop Metal. I say that because they still played kick-ass Metal music, but instead of talking about the dark stuff (like Sabbath), they just rocked out and having fun. Without them, guys like Poison, Motley Crue, Van Halen, not even Kiss would exist.

  • My favourite Slade rocker ... what a great record ! ... Wayne

  • i think slade put humour into everything they did (as you can see in this video)thats what made them so good people could relate to that and i think they really lifted this country ,always slade fan no one rocked like slade, thanx lads.

  • Hey its vic and bob!!

  • ok, the hat's back...guess he made up with Jayne...lol

  • what a voice ha ha

  • pure classic not much else anyone can say about this band

  • I guess the chair got "SLAYED" by Dave LOL!!! Love the camera shots! They really tried to make the viewing public see what makes Nod sing so good. Dave sitting in the chair playing on the full shot reminded me slightly of a jug band on a front porch somewhere in Alabama. Long Live Slade!!!!!!! KOR!!!!!!

  • Good job.

  • Nice stage antics by Dave at the end ^^

  • Don is sitting in a normal chair xD sucks to play drums in them

But a nice video I havent seen before

  • "The Bollocks!"

  • Great vid. Great song. Great band.

    LLTMS!!
