  • Sounds great considering the respiratory failure he had THAT YEAR.

  • sounds awful like a drunk busker

  • @stonedinsect He's on key and the notes sound good, what else can you ask for ?

  • Seeing him tomorrow night.

    Full orchestra.

If I remember, I'll let you know.

  • @ 1:50 that guy needs singing lessons before he tries to sing along lol.

  • Omg @ the spiritual dance on the screen

  • Without all these people making noice etc (well why not, its a concert) Its sounds erie dark, beautiful and simply amazing, just Jon ages later with his guitar, incredible man,

  • Keep it up Jon...we love you!

  • Jon Anderson IS Yes, period! He was/is the most brilliant lyricist/writer ever, next to Shakespere - NO one comes close to the depth of thought and masterful use of the English language as Jon Anderson.

HOWEVER, this is the music BUSINESS (for PROFIT) - The members are WORKING TO EARN A LIVING - Hence the show business saying, "The show must go on!" The replacement singer NAILS Jon's voice very well! Without their racks of Eventide Harmonizers and vocal processing the vocals are poor!

  • Just saw Jon in Edmonton, Canada (Nov. 7, 2009) and he said he was in the hospital before the show here (!) He sounded great but he's still not feeling well and had to cut the show short to about an hour. Sending beaucoup de positive energy to Jon : )

  • Anderson has said that he does'nt need to work anymore and as Squire did'nt consult him about replacing him with a new vocalist in Yes I think it is unlikely that he will perform with Yes again. To be honest I have seen them several times, most recently at Hammersmith on the 35th anniversary tour, much as I like Yes age has caught up with Rick and Jon, best remember the good times.

  • The currect situation of Yes is a disgrace. Its ridiculous. A cover guy touring with "Yes" because, Jon got "sick". At the same time Jon is performing on a solo tour almost it next town. Complete disgrace. I love Yes so much but I'm sorry to say with all honesty that I hope the band would die off if it will continue like this for any longer.

  • it was just him and the guitar and some absolutlyterribly graphics in the back? damn, hes got balls.

  • @Chazzbass13

Agreed - much respect and many blessings to the maestro:

    LONG LIVE JON ANDERSON.

  • Oops!Sorry please disregard previous comment. It's late and I've been watching too many videos. LOL

  • Yeah he sounds kinda' like him, but for my fifty bucks, they'd better have Jon up there singing. They should have waited for him, he's not dead you know!

  • Doubth thi s was this year, unless really early in the year.

He can talk, but he ahd about 4 operations since he almost died.

    He'll be back.

  • Yeah, this was in March 2008...unfortunately he got really sick right after, as this was just before he ended the tour

  • it buggles our gulping throats, i'll be there

  • I just heard on the radio that when Yes tours Jon wont be singing he'll have someone singing for him or with him im not sure

  • I hope he's getting better... he seems okay in this video. And that thing in the background is so distracting, lol

  • He should've played the solos...and all of the other instruments. That was funny at the end.

  • Love it!
