I grew up playing all of these games here are a run down of my favorites... Got the C64 Alien game for 99 cents. It is terrifying. only sound effect is of the Alien moving through the ship then when it attacks a loud blaring siren scares the hell out of you. The c64 Aliens was also alot of fun.

Genesis Alien3 was a bitch. Alien Trilogy was pretty good. Alien Resurrection was well done but hard.

Aliens US Edition. I had that on Cassette Tape for the ZX Spectrum when I was 8 years old in 1990. It was awesome and had a multiple variety of game styles not seen in any game I've ever played (until recently).

The atmosphere was awesome and the cool thing is- instead of "Lives" you had all the characters from the film. If no-one made it out alive it was game over. "Game Over Man!"

The first Alien vs Predator game (out in '99) was amazing. Scary as hell, dark, lightning fast... probably the best Alien related game ever. Really gave you an idea of what this nightmare could have been like. Shame they didn't use it in this video.

One thing has always surprised me, that no one has attempted a true survival horror "Resident Evil" style Alien or Aliens game, pretty much every one there is a shooter or a platformer, with the exception of the original Alien game on the C64 / ZX Spectrum which I suppose kinda came close....

nout much on the net about it. I only ever had the first disc, 3 discs in total all with 1 level each (most of the room on disc were filled up with VERY good sound clips and pictures from the movie). you had to get atleast 4 out fo 10 marines to the next level, then 4, then 1 to complete. English only release by Moby games, my brother bought it off a magazine. if i can find it, you can have its files :)

I loved the aliens arcade game. Played the hell out it.

I always liked alien trilogy out of the alien games put out. yeah the graphics were flat and crappy, even for PS1 standards, but you could tell that the level designs were at least thought out. If that game recieved the PS3/360 treatment, it'd be one of the best games for the series.

Aliens vs Predator 1 was imho the only Aliens game that was true to the franchise. In all other games the Aliens didn't behave at all like in the films. Unfortunately the games was very buggy, though.

The spectrum version of aliens (not the duff US one) is THE scariest game ever. It is still the only game I have ever played where the opponenets (whatever they are) do not necessarily attack you when they see you - but when they did you'd be so thrown by it you could never hit them as you'd be to busy soiling yourself! The SNES version was bloody good game too though nowhere near so scarey.

Hey guys. i think ur missing one old early 1990s dos based game; where u play as ripley going down loads of elevators..

gameplay is top-down birds eye view; kind of like pacman (but way larger level in some basement) and u fight slow moving drones and fast facehuggers using a pulserifle and grenades (with limited ammo)

Well done video. Glad to see you used the track "Futile Escape" from the Aliens soundtrack to enhance the show. It still is my all time favorite action music. I was also glad to see the inclusion of Alien 3 for the Game Boy. I still have that game and could never beat it without using the Game Shark. Can't wait till Colonial Marines comes out. Looks to be a true Aliens experience finally.

The aliens are LIKE insects, but they are deffinately not insects. Colonial Marines called them BUGS as a nickname if I remember correctly. Insecticide might or might not kill them. But if someone decided to kill them that way we wouldn't have such amazing movies now would we?

Just one thing: you should have said AMIGA on the MegaDrive version as they are very similar, packed GG and Master System versions together and show the C64 version.
