I do so agree with you guys. The song has the same timeless feel and groove as " Everlasting Love-Love Affair has. It is absolute correct to have Love Affair listed in the suggestion list here on the right. Remember " Blackberry Way-The Move(later ELO)"? another one of those terrific tunes. Sigh, I wish I could go back in time to 1967. ZER07
Jack In The Box - The Jackpots [Sweden] - 1968 - "Pure EAR-CANDY. Bee Gee's-esque pop vocals." - The Rubble Collection Volume 15: 5,000 Seconds Over Toyland-2004. NOTE: The Jackpots, meanwhile, produced what could well be considered a perfect single. It's a great tune, bouncy, commercial and topped-off with candy-phasing! for a bunch of Swedes its brilliant!!
I believe this was recorded and produced in 1968. They were indeed ahead in time. Absolutely amazing. How inventive they were. Harmonies that give me chills with reverse recording techniques. Very much above other music by that time. This should be listened at in a high end stereo system. These guys were somewhat anonymous, very hard to find info about the group. Check out their albums, the one from 68 especially.
Amazing 1967 Swedish 'bendy pop' single...summed up by a quote on "Toffee Sunday Smash" : "Everything ELO ever did compressed into 2 minutes...only better! "
