I don't know if you've figured it out yet, but I just saw your comment and I decided to give me own solution haha. I have a BXP 5-string as well. Turn the bass down a bit, turn mid up a little passed half-way, and pluck down by the second pick-up near the bridge. That'll about do it. Hope that helps.

Sounds cool, but the sound of the bass kinda creeps me out. On you amp there's this little knob called "bass". Crank it up!

actually... that sound is caused by the fact that he's plucking so closely to the bridge. See... when you pluck close to the bridge, where the tensity of the string is obiously stronger, the string doesn't ... move as much... it's tenser... that's what makes that sound... if you play bass try it, you'll see what i mean. sometimes it sounds good.. usually in metal :)

dude, your an anime fan more than a musician. =] i didnt want to start play cuz of Beck. but it turned out i live in a town that holds annual international music fest (similar to Grafull sound, but with 1 stadium, for 3 nights) called Visagino Country. And i looked about the same as Youske at the time of watching Beck. I have a friend who is 99% Koyuki =] Really! This is very good. The biggest problem is that throughout the song, you drag the tempo just a tiny bit (it is more prominent in the beginning half). I'm sure you hear it also. But overall it is good.
