Was Lauren talking about Parenthood? Because she is great in that show. It is startling to compare her "perfect" mother-daughter relationship in the Gilmore Girls with her less than ideal (but more realistic) parenting skills in Parenthood. Lauren Shines in both roles. @meghanpug I don't know about bitchy, but she's certainly ungrateful. She always tries to avoid talking about Gilmore Girls in interviews, & she's the one who left the show in the first place (and Lauren obviously didn't want to come back without Alexis). After the show ended she was like," Oh yeah, I think it's the PERFECT ending for the show! The writers really tied it together!" BULLSHIT. It's kind of sad. On the other hand, Lauren has always been grateful & says she would love to do a movie.

Ok I'm gonna get so much critisism for this but Alexis/"Rory" has absolutely NO charisma whatsoever... she has ONE facial expression, a really monotone voice and her entire body language is like ONE hand movement. Even her laugh sounds fake. I really, really, really LOVE the show tho and I've seen it like 4 billion times. But.. still... wow. She's like a little doll and not at all in a good sense.

I think it's a little insensitive for people to give them crap about not missing the show. Like someone else said, your perception of Stars Hollow clearly isn't theirs. It was a job for them, not a field trip. Maybe they think about all of the hard work they had to endure day in and day out. Personally, Stars Hollow was a little bit too happy and unrealistic for me. I mean, the only real problem the people had in the show was putting an Ice Cream shop next to Luke's diner. LOL
