Quick recommendation for chest storage: Put the chests in the ground surrounding the collecting pit, so you don't have to move, just turn the camera to put loots away. It saves a good amount of time if you do

In 1.9 (pre4+) you can use poison splash potions to kill endermen - it doesn't even piss them off - you could fill a dispenser with them. Setting it up and massing poison splash potions (esp. since you can only put 9 per dispenser) is another story, though.

@enzo00234 if I remember right, the download is a .zip file. You'll have to actually unzip the folder contents into your save folder, it doesn't work like texture packs. Hope that helps!

@MarzzipanMAN you can always watch 15 minutes and save the 2nd half for later ;-) But I get what you're saying, 30 minutes is a bunch...but it goes SO quick when recording. my next video is great but it's 35 min

play the Zelda minecraft world :D that one is really cool. or you could just make huge things like castles with self regenerating walls, elevators, lava walkways, piston gates and all those things. but I'd prefer Zelda.

Hey you know you can play most of the Vechs maps on multiplayer. You could get a friend or a peer on youtube and play a an easier map with him/her. That's what me and my friend are doing with Kazio Caverns.

@Generikb If you have a laptop I would suggest using your computer to host the server and play off of the laptop. My computer is crap and it can host a server for 2 with minimal lag.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the potions either... I try not to be too hard on Jeb but when you add a game mechanic like that you might want to ask people before you start wasting your time on something a lot of people won't use.

theres not actualy 2000 potions, theres just a few, but you can make their reactions stronger, and make them do more than one, making it so there are around 2000 all around possible combinations, but only maybe 5 - 8 things they do, if that makes sense at all.

@mickyboondock ya that makes sense...still 2000 combinations likely means 2000 inventory slots, right? You most likely wouldn't be able to stack two strength potions if they were different levels of potency.

you do know it depends on which way the stair is facing to get certain blocks, 2 directions gives you normal, 1 gives you cracked, and 1 gives you mossy. try to place a stair in all directions!

@CustomCloneDB you used to be able to mine mossy or cracked stone bricks from stone brick stairs if they were positioned a certain way (I think south and east), but it's fixed in 1.9pr2 :(

ok ideas first is to go the skyblock change like u were talking bout and also hardcore mode cause u got 1.9 that might b fun to watch u running for ur life. also i would do some multiplayer adventure maps like a race for wool by vechs. you could also make a server fun us ur views to hang out with you onand build(downfall tho is u can only have a few ppl out of ur 1000 subs so that might b out). also u should try a think be4 u act map. The way I took Jebs tweet about 2000 ish recipes is several combinations could equal the same potion maybe of different levels of effectiveness and how long they can last. As it stands there is only coding for certain potion effects.

I'm pretty excited for baby animals too, but I hope they don't actually look like the pictures. I would much rather have them look cute like the mod than with giant derpy heads.

It does seem weird to have so many potions too. I like the idea cause theres a lot you can do with them, but over 2000? I can't think of that many being useful.

You could attempt to create a automated tree/log farm always wanted to see a useful version...

@Danmitchable well there's no really good way to make an automated tree farm because you can't harvest the trees into "log items" without punching/chopping the trees. And then of course there's no way to automatically replant them after they're chopped.

As far as the 24 hours go, I believe that at about the 18 hour mark you are going to be TIRED AS HELL. So I think that the first couple hours could be legit work, and you could record it and break it down into what you usually do for these episodes, then for the other hours you could experiment freely with stuff. Build ideas, redstone things you want to try but aren't sure of. I think people like to see you tinker :)

@MrDogaroo yeah you're right, this is prime time for tinkering. I'm absolutely terrible at minecart stuff, so it might be useful to have folks tell me what I'm doing wrong as I'm building. I've got a great idea for a breeding system but no clue how to execute!

i think you should try stay away from the lets play for the 24hr event. simply because a lot of people (including me) arnt going to have chance to watch it all and i wouldnt want to think im missing out if you know what i mean. survival/adventure maps sound like a great idea though

@worsey55555 yeah it's a valid point...I'll probably record highlights from it to post on YouTube though, and I can always do a "world walkthrough" afterwards to show what I've done.  Probably will get a chance to put the underground walkway system in place, that would be pretty boring to watch on a YouTube video :)
