I am trying to do a solar tracker but making the pic calculating altitude and azimuth.. I wonder if a PIC16F can handle the big numbers.

@starpier pretty sure the PIC16F877 has the number crunching capability for this task. Microchip's website has application notes on performing the various required maths subroutines & algorithms.
