Pretty good for Paint, it sucks compared to Photoshop. I mainly use a tablet, so I really can't judge you if you're using a mouse.

most artists DO start with the head. proportions are harder when u start with the body or legs.

Are you doing something with the pensal? mine get so thin and yours is thick and perfekt. And when you draw the horse, the red is perfect. When i draw mine, i have to go back and forth to make it right.. am i doing something wrong?

When drawing the basic outline, there's no need to be neat. Just make a shape to follow with the main outline. It's fine to make it right.

It's really not as smooth as I would like it to be. But it depends on the mouse and how steady your hand is.

I know the outline is hard for everyone. And I know you don't want to hear this, but the key in this case is practice. The more you practice, it will get better each time. Also, Try studying the anatomy of horses. That might help too. Good luck, I hope I helped you! :)

Some people are just meant for certain things other aren't. Most artists (like me and kokamo77) start drawing when we are very young and build up. Just practice basic things and move up! :)

Nice horse - I can't even draw one on paper. Your voice is not bad lol. You should try CamStudio which can be set to include the whole screen and/or not follow the mouse.

If i'm doing a pgesus I start with the wings or head. and for a normal horse I also start at the head. Of course I'm not as good sa you, but I on;y started less than a year ago.

actually a lot of artists start with the head to be honest. As for me, i dont, the head can always be fixed and sometimes the body is smaller than the head if you start there. You did a great job on this though. I learned some new stuff.

It somewhat depends on the mouse you're using. A big, heavy desktop mouse is harder to use than a small laptop mouse. You also have to go slow with the lines and try to steady your hand if it's shaky. If you start out with the sloppy red line, it makes getting the perfect final black line easier. Hope this helped. :)
