We always spay and neuter our rescues, thanks for this. But then we have the puppy torture mills where they're churning them out by the thousands every day into a world where dog overpopulation is a chronic problem. The puppy mills have got to be SHUT DOWN, not regulated...the whole concept of puppy mills is insane. Until you attack that huge "root" of the problem and all it's horrible cruelty, it is hopeless.

I would let the two dogs I got have puppies, then when the puppies are at the certain age, I'd spay and neuter them. It's quite easy and you will get a lot of more love. :)

Or, moron, you could spay and neuter your dogs to begin with, give them a lifetime of love and a good home, and then when they pass on, share your generosity with some other poor animal from a shelter or similar organization. Don't they deserve a chance?

I understand that it might prevent it from having baby but i beleive that everyone should have love in this world. IF u really cut those ball's off from the animals wouldn't that be taking there life away? =( its just so sad and confusing having these mix feeling. If I was put under anesthesia like the dog, I wouldn't feel much of anything actually. The result of people not spaying or neutering their pets, results in the deaths of MILLIONS of dogs and cats every year you, fucking moron. And they DO have pet abortions at the vet, but it's better to not have to do that procedure because it's much more risky compared to spaying. So let's see, a near-painless and quick procedure or millions of DEATHS. My oh my I wonder which one is the better choice.

one, neuter is for boy dogs,2 spay is for females and three is it a girl or boy dog? Im just curious! oh and is it a purebred? and if its a girl dog do you know how breeding works? sorry for all the questions but im assuming by what u said about only neutering meaning fixing only males canines(ironcally we called dogs dogs when thats the male canine is called) and everybody by now knows what female dogs are called(or i hope so!)

I heard a saying once, it goes, "If you can`t afford the vet, you can`t afford the pet" and that goes for spaying and neutering, those things should be though of first before you have a pet and if people knew how important it truly was, we woulden`t have this problem so much.

I agree. Puppies bite, they go to the bathroom everywhere, they want to play ALL THE TIME, they cry at night for hours non-stop, they chew your favorite furnitures, and do a lot of other things. I'm not saying puppies are bad but they aren't the most fun things ever either. It's easier to adopt an older dog for your first time (from a safe place of course. ^_^).

Very effective, and appreciate this reminder to people who I hear all too often "oooh, I want a puppy" and overlook the truly wonderful seniors who desperately need homes. I would like to see another one on senior pets like yours of Isabella. Remind people, a senior dog is already housebroken, won't chew your favorite shoes, and will be your most loyal friend without being asked.
