i have this theory where whichever version of the song that u listened to first is the one that sounds good to you no matter WHEN it composed...perfect example would be this song, i heard it first from mandy moore and i loved it but when i found out it was Switchfoot's song originally, i listened to it and i thought wow it's not bad but it will never hit me how mandy moore's version hit me the first time.
