Every one of you lovely people must know that your efforts are their own rewards. I've held dying animals and felt utter helplessness, but I need to remember the gratitude in their eyes, just because I was there and was not leaving them in their last moments. It meant the world to them. I'll never forget them. and I hope to see them again. My life was a book and they were pages in it that needed to be read.

kindness to an animal goes a long way. even after they have been abused mercifly they still love! please go to your local shelter and adopt a loving companion for someone this christmas. lets try to empty all the shelters these babies deserve a long life and someone to love them as much as they will love you give them a chance that they might not have tommorow. please adopt one today please!

As I get older, I feel so much more compassion for animals. More compassion than I have ever known or felt. I have never loved any of my dogs in the past more than I love Kashy! (kashyyyk--star wars planet, son named her) So, this new power of love that I have is for all animals in this world. They all deserve our love and comfort. Thank you for the wonderful video. Sad too but true to life.

Maria, Thank you for making this video. I am a rescuer and it means so much to see things like this. I just pray that someday soon people will finally get it and realize what its all about and the changes they must make..I love animals so much and my heart hurts everytime I rescue one. It's pain of sarrow and joy knowing what hes gone thru and that he wont suffer anymore..Thank you for what you do.

Hi Maria, I just added this video to my library. It made me cry, but not just for the suffering of these Blessed creatures, but for the cruelty that lives in the hearts of some people. God Bless the rescuers! I used to pick up stray dogs all the time and find homes for them. That was over thirty years ago. I did save a few :) Thank you Maria for continuing this most important work. You are truly a kind Spirit....
