Let me tell you something the steering rack started making noise i tried changing it and had to take the whole front bottom out everything few days work. My 2006 E55 AMG has 4 bolts on the bottom holding it real easy

As for which one to get I guess that would depend on what you want out of a car. Both have similar build quality and interior touch (soft dash, leather seats and panels, etc). IS350 is great for 0-60's and quarter mile. IS-F is great for 60 roll to triple digits due to wonderful close gearing. Another difference you could guess, yeah, the V8 sound. It's got nicer pitch than the IS350. Since you're from the big engines (merc's) you'll probably like IS-F better. It performs just as good as C63 AMG
Yeah i thought about the C63 but i dunno merc's reliability scares me sometimes and my lex has had "0" problems, I only time i take it to the dealership is for the routine maintenance schedule.. gotta love lexus!!!

I prefer the GS400 to most of them though b/c of the RELIABILITY, when it comes to Lexus it cant be beat. In addition the quality of service you receive and how personable their staff is. Mercedes is ok too, but when i drive those cars frequently, they have a tendency to break more often, meaning more time and dollars spent at the shop.

Yea IS350 is definitely nice for DD, excellent in the stop-and-go traffic. I got mine for $39.5k with negotiation. IS-F is also nice, great for highway beating, too much for me but I'm sure you can get one without a sweat.
Also, I ve posted a few acceleration vids of the GS4, they are not the fastest, but I feel i got pretty close to the edmunds 5.4 secs check em out. I think when i finish this next degree of mine in the fall of 2010 at FSU (go noles) i ve been thinking rewarding myself with an IS350 or F, not sure yet!!!! Which one to choose!!!!!

Also you'll like the V8 sound note better on the IS-F since you got use to with the big engines.

I dont live on a track. Out in the real world the LEXUS is the better car. It is more comfortable and has way less repairs than bmw. I know I owned both.

I prefer the GS400 to most of them though b/c of the RELIABILITY, when it comes to Lexus it cant be beat. In addition the quality of service you receive and how personable their staff is. Mercedes is ok too, but when i drive those cars frequently, they have a tendency to break more often, meaning more time and dollars spent at the shop.

Yea IS350 is definitely nice for DD, excellent in the stop-and-go traffic. I got mine for $39.5k with negotiation. IS-F is also nice, great for highway beating, too much for me but I'm sure you can get one without a sweat.

Also, I ve posted a few acceleration vids of the GS4, they are not the fastest, but I feel i got pretty close to the edmunds 5.4 secs check em out. I think when i finish this next degree of mine in the fall of 2010 at FSU (go noles) i ve been thinking rewarding myself with an IS350 or F, not sure yet!!!! Which one to choose!!!!!

As for the which one to get depends on what you want. IS350 is great for 0-60 and quarter. IS-F is great for 60 to triple digits. Both have equally impressive interior build quality (soft dash, leather quality, panels, etc). The main difference is the IS-F picks up speed mad from roll, thanks to close ratio gearing all the way to the top gears. Also you'll like the V8 sound note better on the IS-F since you got use to with the big engines.

IS350C is heavy. It needs some diet. Replace your battery with a light one. Get the carbon fiber hood. Get some light wheels and you might be able to keep up with regular IS350.

I am talking about stock vs stock. Also, the Camaro runs high 12s stock. The 335i isn't even close. The 335i is an average speed car with good cornering and crappy interior and one of the most unreliable engines of all-time. Keep loving your BMWs.

@Alriaz217 Like I said above, the 2011 IS-F has an LSD, which dramatically improved its handling. So much that it posted a faster Lightning Lap @ VIR than the M3. It is also more reliable, comfortable, better gas, etc. etc. Lexus destroys BMW easily. BMW has nothing that can touch the LF-A, LF-Gh or IS-F. lol. They should be called the Ultimate Driving Machine for Casual Enthusiasts.

However, I'm not comparing certain models of cars, I'm comparing the two brands. But the ISF has 2 more hp than the M3, but the M3 reaches it's power potential before the ISF, therefore the BMW would be faster in shorter distances.

As for the launching, the bmw guy pushed it, there's too much power and ended up spinning from the launch. BMW's rear tires are too narrow for it, i think it's at 245 or less? also IIRC, most of them he raced are modded (chipped) which caused the tires to lose grip even more you fag..

I put big money down. my payments are low and will pay off in about 3 yrs and right now my current mileage is under 6k. it's a 2008 got it last year brand new.
