hey there, now if i wanted to have all 4 liths light up all together at once, could i do that?? j/w i just bought this light as a kit has 2 of them, looks nice, but just kinda wanted to know if all 4 can stay on steady? thanks alot buddy, rock on kid
For hard industrial/gabber type stuff, do you think these would respond well if I was using just the built-in mic to have them chase in-time with the music? I'm thinking about buying two, then later buying some other Chauvet lights to have a giant wall of sound-reactive light.
Just a note, you might want to correct what you said there. You said the Colorbank, although you have a DJ Bank. They are actually quite different units. The DJbank has only 35 leds in each section that are the same color, while the Colorbank has 72 in each that are a mix of blue, green, and red.
This unit responds very well to sound. It does not have any other features. No strobe. No lighting up of all 4 colors. Just the chase that you see in the video. It's still worth it considering its LED and is very bright for its size.
Other lights have a broader beam angle. So, you have to sort out what lights to use to wash certian objects. Usually, when we talk about Washing, we're talking about a broad angle light, like a Mega Pannel that's good for lighting up walls & such
It will easily light up a bedroom or a living room. Considering that they arent huge, they won't go and fill a gym or a big dance floor, but they are very bright as you can see in the video and they do put out a lot of light. I've left for college so I cannot make a video at the moment but I hoped that helped.
how do you make it respond to sound? does it just do it? or do you have to add somthing to it?

@3301997ccc It has a sound active knob on the back of it. You can turn it and decide how sensitive you want it to be.

Yeah it'll do the show for you. Have it on sound active mode and your all set. I started with one and have 2 now and they are great.

im probably gonna get two of these, link em together, and hang them vertically on my speaker stands...i think that would look really cool

Yeah you should. They are great for throwing out wash for the price.

Hi thx for the review, just a few questions...
Does this unit respond well in sound to light mode? (ie in beat) also....
Does it have any other functions than just chasing through each colour? ie do all four lights light up or strobe etc?
Thx again for the vid... practice and njoy!

@BCP1578 I just got one of these yesterday and mine has a switch for turning all lights on at once.

You have to disable "Friend Lock" before I can reply to your question. I'll try to do it here:
To "Wash" something with light is to light it up. Some Par cans have a narrow beam angle that's more for lighting up things like a mirror ball.

I need to do a video on this. Stay tuned!

I'm planning on buying one of these...
the only thing I want to know, is how much will it light up.
If it's not too much to ask...
can you make a video showing how bright the lights are?
I would really appreciate it
