  • The god of the bible is a disgusting, immoral, child raping, child torturing monster. If heaven and hell are the two choices, I would gladly choose eternal torture over worshiping the torturer.

  • Okay, you can choose to go to heaven. But if you don't choose heaven you BURN FOR ETERNITY.

  • What kind of catholics are you??!!

How about the purgatory? You, heretics!

If you were living 300 years ago you'll burn at a catholic stake with your "protestant" theology...

  • @SerJahPhoto What are you talking about? What "protestant" theology...I fail to understand your comment. Please enlighten, God Bless~~~

  • @SerJahPhoto Actually that probably explains why catholic belive in hell.

Because if there is a hell -- it would probably be something like being tortured by the inqustion.

  • Indoctrination. Don't choose to be separated from god. Don't choose to go to hell. The mafia boss..." nice life you got here....be a shame if anything happened to it". Religion is evil.

  • @badpanda: actually, that's not what the Catholic Church says. While the Church is the only gateway of salvation, if you live your life to the best of your ability we remember that God is just and will not condemn anyone for genuine ignorance.

  • lol cute ending though..

  • Even science can't progress without some degree of faith. Did you see the pharmacist mix your prescription yourself or do you just have faith that he did it right?

  • @upriest "Did you see the pharmacist mix your prescription yourself or do you just have faith that he did it right?"

But if he did it wrong ( assuming you are still alive) you can sue and get compensation.

But if you die and find out you followed the wrong relgion -- well you are fucked.

  • @nicolaswirth Interesting point. But I think the fact is you can't have science as the final say~science is not all-knowing. 1st response: there is the question of existance. A thing can exist whether we know it or not (God exists). 2nd: Philosophical proofs can be good proofs, but they do not have to be scientific proofs. God discussions are philosophical proofs. God bless!

  • Guys, science does not always have the final say. Just because you can't see the wind, does that mean it doesn't exist? Just because you've never seen your brain, does that mean you don't have one? Ridiculous! Of course you have a brain and of course the wind exists. God does too, and coming to believe in Him and the Hell (the place where all go who choose to not love God) will be something that you will have to realize yourself. I'll be praying that you guys find peace in your search for Him...

  • @davismusician you don't see the wind, but you can prove it exists, measure it and study it. That's science.

Faith is believing because you want to, period. No proof.

Don't get me wrong, you can believe in god as much as you want but don't think you can equate faith to science

  • Epic Strawman fail! Finding a theme park only takes a drive, If my friend told me that a free theme park exists I would check because the reward is great and the risk is losing 30 minutes of leisure time. I could say that heaven exists and only if you have epic orgies at least once a week will you get in to this heaven. This hypothesis of heaven for the orgiers automatically has as much evidence for it's existence as the Catholic heaven: ZERO! So I could fallow the Catholic lifestyle of self...

  • @MacabreManifesto ...denial, or I could fallow the orgier lifestyle of weakly orgies and self fulfillment, both of which have the same probability of a good afterlife. Should I choose self denial or orgies? Now that's a head scratcher!

  • At least when people go the the amusement park they can take photos -- an amusement park has a physical address and we can verify it exists..

Unlike heaven or hell -- no one knows where exactly it is , no one have every come back from heaven or hell alive to tell about it..

  • @badpanda84 wrong ..people have went to heaven and back, because they were told it simply wasnt there time to go

  • @MissiBxtch right-- name one person who has done that..

  • @badpanda84 Hevent you seen Ghost, Message from Sam?

    Or the sixth Sense?

    Those are the perfect proof!!!

    ;-))

The guy with the paddle ball reminds me of most religious people, confronted with real evidence.

  • @M0rdH0rst *Haven't

    need edit button

  • @M0rdH0rst Nope never seen a ghost. none of those thing a proof.

It is a commonly know fact that people having near death experience may claim to see things like a " bright white light etc"

but why is it that a Muslim person will see allah, a christain person will see Jesus.. etc.

  • @badpanda84 Sry, that was ironic.

"Ghost" and "The 6th Sense" are movies. Quiet entertaining but not even close to a scientific kind of proof ^^.

In my experience, the "Near death experience" is an impression of shock, caused by the incident.

And it is a strong impression.

I once had one, about 20 years ago, it still makes me wake up at night.

  • @M0rdH0rst lol fair enough -- I only realised that after I posted my response

  • @MissiBxtch and not someone who had a dream about heaven

  • @youngcatholic I think you'll find, if you really start to think about it, that your concept of "god" is for lack of a better word "evil." Your "god" thing sends people to "hell" for punishment, but If he really believes that is "justice," then he could just not make people or not make the people who he knows will choose what he finds wrong and save them from eternal to torture. But instead he would rather torture people. I would personally destroy a being like this if I could.

  • One minute in and it still looks like the paddleball guy is the christian one, trying no to sin.

-"Hey dude, come with me to the real world, there are all sorts of cool things we could do!"

    "Can't, christian."

-"Well, just leave the stupid christianity behind and let's go do all this fun stuff in the world! C'mon!"

"Leave my christianity? Are you insane?!"

God loves us. That's why over half of us born into regions with other religions and propably never will convert. And because of that, HELL.

  • @Daealis give me a break ,I am from another region ,and was raised with another religion with 100 % islamic culture where even the idea of other ideas is not negotiable , yet I converted . we live in the 21st century . everyone can use his brain and chose for himself .Plus the Church don't Condemn people who don't know the truth about the faith ,, you should take your time and read the Church documents Nostra aetate

  • @youngcatholic Childhood indoctrination is, well, kinda evil guys.

    Hell works like this;

The Mafia boss tells you that he loves you and you are part of his family then holds a gun to your head and tells you that YOU have to do as he says, it's up to YOU whether you obey or not. if you do you can live for ever with him otherwise he will blow your brains out.

The deal was done before we are born, before i was conceived, i have no choice, God can do anything and this is the best he can do?

  • Woah, you mean, there's this amazing invisible guy that loves me unconditionally? Ok! Oh, I first have to read this large collection of conditions and rules to receive this love? Wait, if I don't follow these rules, I'll be tortured for the rest of eternity? Have I been misled on the meaning of 'love' my entire life?

  • I do agree that God is love, and that that love is a love without end. amen.

  • A sadistic guy who want our love, and if we can`t love him back he's going to send us to eternal suffering, just because he is almighty. Well, I refuse to love such a god. Where is the love in that god? I try to do my best without him, and I'm not a bad person, I just don't believe in god. What do you do when a doubt emerge?? Do you pray?? Do you don't think about it?? It's easy not to think when the reward is heaven and the punishment is hell. Fear and guilt to force us not to think.

  • Everyone will kneel before the feet of the Creator. End time will be the answer to all questions.

  • What about those who have never heard of Jesus?

  • @aaa333ify yes, Hell is not eternal

  • You people sicken me. You reduce the atheist argument to a paddleball and an amusement park. The fact that you characterize "god" a certain way doesn't make heaven or hell real. Atheists don't regect the amusement park because they have a paddleball, they reject it because the park isn't viewable, doesn't consist of matter, and the only people who have seen it are psychologically disturbed. Maybe it's something in the holy water.

  • @CipherMind117 Keep in mind these videos are for young catholics trying to understand teachings of our faith. We give it in short little blips in order to spur people's deeper questions. They are not intended to explain away an atheist's convictions. Feel free to email us! youngcatholic@ymail.com

  • @youngcatholic No you are making videos that are nice short and bite sized so that you don't have to answer hard questions. Honestly why should i expect anything more from a person who thinks we all should burn in a lake of fire for not having faith.

  • @youngcatholic If you really were interested in spurring young Catholics to understand their faith, or the disagreements of others, or *anything* you wouldn't coddle them with these horrible attempts at simplifying the complex arguments awaiting them outside the cathedral and in the real world.

  • FAITH IS A TOOL USED TO CRIPPLE COMMON SENSE

  • Hell? Then what is the fire in the bible? Those who rejected Him will suffer eternal suffering. He is a Jealous God.

  • @CardinalArchBishop So, as a cardinal, I'm curious. Have you read a literal translation of the Bible? I mean, have you read it in Greek and Hebrew?

  • @aaa333ify I am not a cardinal

  • @CardinalArchBishop ok, as an archbishop...idk, I just assumed from the name...

    but have you?

  • @aaa333ify Nope. not yet

  • @CardinalArchBishop Well you should. You will see that it speaks of no "eternal hell." This is a mistranslation. "Hell" is actually temporary.

Jesus is the savior of ALL people, not just some.

  • Religion is a mental illness.

  • look for the song from Maria Stern "Priest"

  • so god is a totaly fashist aa i get it....

SIGE HAILE! the chathlics here are real facsits let pepol live thiere lifes

    * that is not to say that all cahlichs are fasists*

  • God does nothing wrong to us like humans. Nor is He jealous.Hell is the final separation of us from God. He doesn't want us to go there unless we choose to. Also, how we live isn't just about loving God the Father, but loving His Son and Holy Spirit. Since God is all 3 in 1, He doesn't say "hey check me out" but "check out my son" & so on. The Holy Trinity is a beatific vision and an eternal exchange of love. It all comes down to loving not only God but others, which is God's mission for us all.

  • @Viendork "Nor is He jealous" Hmm you do realise that several time in the old testement it say "God is a jealous god"

  • Why is your god so insecure? Love me or I'll send you to hell? Who would worship such a being?

  • @scottieseattle - God does not send anyone to hell, it's a choice of your own free will. You can either except Jesus as Lord or reject Him. hell was not ment for people it was strictly made for the Lucifer and the fallen angels. Acts 4:12, Romans 3:23.

  • I think it's pretty funny that people generally point "up" when they're pointing to where they think heaven is. That means people around the world are all pointing in different directions. So where is this place supposed to be, anyway?

  • WOW the only thing that is more of a waste of time than making this video is living life as a catholic lol

  • An omniscient, omnipresent, all powerfull, God made us...knowing in advance what happens to us ...and yet, He is still not responsible for anything we do, or what happens to us, or where we go when it's over.

    That's a sweet deal : )

  • If this is the meaning of life, why did he create us in the first place?

  • You say that we should choose God. We cannot do this. God Chooses us - read the Bible!

John 15:16 ~ You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

  • Awesome! Keep 'em coming!

  • God isnt forcing you towards him he is giving you a choice.

Believe in him or burn for ever.

Love him or be dammed for eternity.

Doesnt sound much of a choice to me

  • Yet another good video. :)

  • That's a really good way to represent earthly things versus heavenly. A paddle ball as opposed to a carnival.
