@joerover22 actually it originated from skateboarding. its called goofy because you use your left foot for pushing and popping your tail, which is odd because most people are right footed. I ride goofy but im right footed. It can be argued that on a skateboard you need more control in the front end of the board for flip tricks and such, which is understandable why so many people ride "goofy".
