This song helped me get through so much...I've always been good at public speaking, and when my school lost 2 seniors in one week, and one of them was my best friend, they all looked to me to find the right words to say. The only way I've been able to speak at her candlelight vigil, her wake, her funeral, and tonight at our senior banquet is because of God's courage in me. This song gave me the strength to comfort others instead of myself and brought many to God. So God, take good care of Allie.

I dance on my high school's dance team. We aren't really respected by our peers and we have many fears in each individual girl on the team. My coach is very religious and right now our first competition is to another CC song. But yesterday she played this song for us as we all held hands with our eyes closed. I looked at it like you for awhile because Im an EMTI in Texas so I was upset that they didn't get a seat at the memorial but as a public servant I can tell you we usually don't like the spotlight, and with all the firemen and police at the same spot it would have made a spot for a terrorist attack.

I watched the movie Courageous & thought it was SO powerful. The movie industry is in dire need of more Christian roles that have a positive influence on our culture. I am tired of the typical trashy films (ie. The Hangover, Superbad) that teach viewers to support adultery, underage drinking, immodesty, immoral decisions, etc. I wish there were more movies like Courageous! PLEASE GO SEE IT. I felt as though I was on a spiritual island. I had tons of questions about life and no one to answer them. I fell deep into sin twice, but God picked me back up. This song always reminds me of 9/11, and how many men saved others and tried to save others from the falling Twin Towers. They were VERY, very courageous that day, and they always will be known to be courageous. God Bless them all! :)

@lollypop2143 yeh, but now there not courageous the last 9/11 they had a party to remember all the plp that died and the firefighters did'nt even get invited or did the cops..just the familys who had lost ones... Thats not courageous and it disappoints me.

@bobrusable even though they weren't invited they are still courageous. They still put they're lives on the line every day. I looked at it like you for awhile because Im an EMTI in Texas so I was upset that they didn't get a seat at the memorial but as a public servant I can tell you we usually don't like the spotlight, and with all the firemen and police at the same spot it would have made a spot for a terrorist attack.

i just saw casting crowns last thursday and it was amazing i have been wanting to see then since last summer when i first heard them at a mission confrence and i finally got too and it was amazing (: if you have the chance go see them it will change you and open your eyes to faith lik it did mine

I watched the movie Courageous & thought it was SO powerful. The movie industry is in dire need of more Christian roles that have a positive influence on our culture. I am tired of the typical trashy films (ie. The Hangover, Superbad) that teach viewers to support adultery, underage drinking, immodesty, immoral decisions, etc. I wish there were more movies like Courageous! PLEASE GO SEE IT. Let your money support a Christian film so more can be made!!! Be courageous for our Lord. God bless! :)

Certainly not a Christian...but I happened upon this song during the part with the words from Micah 6:8 on the radio one day. Uplifting words and they resonate across all boundaries of faith. Seek justice...love mercy..walk humbly with your God. If only that could be a rallying cry for all people of faith in our world!

@moosedude283 there are people who do have trouble with hearing certain pronunciations due to many factors. Some may be conductive but others may have sensorinerual problems. Lyrics are helpful for that and also for those who want to memorize the song like me. I am a visual learner so I need to look at something to memorix=ze it completely.

Anytime you feel hurt, alone or unloved, picture yourself sitting in the lap of Jesus with his arms tight around you. this is what I do and it works. Keep praying daily for your parents no matter what happens.

I love the LORD like you too...It's sad to see your family not believe in the LORD like you do. But, keep in your faith he will carry you through. I have children all grown who where taken to church so they know if the LORD but they do not have a personal relationship with the LORD...We can not change the people we love, it sad but, it's in God Great Timing, not ours. We believe our children are too young to understand, which they may be, but the feelings reflected on the kids is ignored. We are sorry that we do this to you. Living a Christian life is a hard thing to do, but in the end it is worth it. Having courage, especially regarding standing up to your faith and spreading the gospel to non-believers that are friends and family is one of the hardest things to do. Will pray for you you strongenough234, I know just how you feel when I was 17 my dad decided that he wasn't going to serve God anymore, and he got violent with my brother. I felt as though I was on a spiritual island. I had tons of questions about life and no one to answer them. I fell deep into sin twice, but God picked me back up. This life is a loooong hARD road but it is soooooooo worth it to serve God!!!!!!!!!!!!! DONT GIVE UP!!! I'm only 24 but from here I can say, there is hope for you!

So my parents are probaly going to divorce meanwhile im dying on the inside my Mom lets out all her anger on me and I barely ever see my Dad anymore (i'm dying on the inside because im the defenition of lovesick) and im just starting to understand true faith. I honestly would me completly be lost without God and i'm only 10. I love God soo much and I just keep fighting for God and my mom thinks I should be sent to a phicolygest cause I hate being around new people thumbs up if u think i'm strong

Actually I encourage you to, I'm someone who has had plenty of trust issues with others after being let down too much. But with God's help, we can lay it all in his hands and just let his will be done. 1 Peter 5:7" Give all your cares and worries to God, for he cares about you."
