Yo tenía un amigo con mucha rabia contenida, Sus sueños se habían frustrado, abandonó pronto los estudios y no tenía trabajo, se volvió violento. Siempre quería tener razón y cuando no la tenía su defensa era la fuerza, por eso se quedaba sin amigos. Su frustración también la pagaba con la novia, se desahogaba pegándola. No-one should have a divine right to free or subsidised further education - if the government can afford it then it is a good idea, but many countries are in too much debt for such ideas currently.

Yo tenía un amigo con mucha rabia contenida, Sus sueños se habían frustrado, abandonó pronto los estudios y no tenía trabajo, se volvió violento. Siempre quería tener razón y cuando no la tenía su defensa era la fuerza, por eso se quedaba sin amigos. Su frustración también la pagaba con la novia, se desahogaba pegándola. Empezó a tener problemas con la justicia y le daba miedo ir a la cárcel. Lo último que supe de él es que se hizo policía nacional. Es verídico. Ahora se descarga legalmente.

Yeah I live in Spain now and I see how the police officers treat their own people, and even worse the people from outside of the country. They're very ruthless and could care less about anything other than Spanish people, not even that fully though. Catalunya representa más de un 20% del P.I.B de España, por ende aporta muchisimo dinero para que andaluces y extremeños cobren el per y subvenciones caidas del cielo ( madre de la Campanario ). Cobran el per trabajan en negro, tienen unas casas impresionantes y unos cochazos, que los demás solo soñamos. Y estos casos se dan. Explicame porque en Andalucia y Extremadura más de la mitad de trabajadores son funcionarios.

Angry at having their schools drained of resources in the name of deficit-cutting, angry at being deprived of their education and left in poverty, angry at having their opportunity at a good life stripped away from them with rising tuition fees and higher costs of living while wages remain stagnant, angry at being looked down upon as naive idealists, angry at being written off as a lost generation.

Just look at the UK and Spain - tuition fees have gone up dramatically, education has been under attack from neoliberal governments and unemployment is becoming a social nightmare; e.g 50% youth unemployment in Spain
If you deprive people of their education they are left with only violence as a means to express themselves

Without access to higher education the social mobility in our society is axed, social unrest, political instability, economic turmoil, ethnic conflict and class struggle then becomes inevitable
How good that you started your own business, but to be able to flourish your employees need education.

For many years all these college graduates did was sit around wasting society's resources, neither trying to find lower class work (eg. construction) nor taking the risk of creating their own work, and the shortage of jobs we have today comes from the lack of ppl like me and the excess of ppl like you

We can't compete with the cheap labour of the third world and none of the politicians and parties in Europe today that are a part of the mainstream seem to want to address this issue, therefore it is vital that we have a competent, highly skilled, highly educated population so that we can compete through knowledge.
Otherwise Europe will become a cesspool of 30's style Depression

@seppsters The Euro is the very definition of a failed neoliberal project for free-market fundamentalism. It allows Germany and France to dominate and ravage the economies of other countries, making those countries reliant on loans to finance their public services and to be able to buy these cheap goods that have out-competed domestic ones they are given loans by French and German banks.
Free Trade is the definition of failure - it allows the strong to prey on the weak, to the benefit of none.

@SrDeAndres The Euro is and always has been a project for Germany, and later France, to be able to sell products and supplies on a free market through the abolishment of fees, tariffs & regulations
So Southern Europe has been deindustrialized as they can't compete with the cheap, massproduced goods from Germany that have flooded their markets, and German banks have been used to give out loans to Greek banks, who in turn have given loans to Greeks to purchase these goods until the bubble bursted

@atosafi1 The facts are that the economies do not currently require any further graduates in many subjects, they require people to fill the jobs that are available and to set up businesses that will create other jobs.
No-one should have a divine right to free or subsidised further education - if the government can afford it then it is a good idea, but many countries are in too much debt for such ideas currently.
You can be a success, and have a good life, without a university degree

A generation of people where university education is increasingly seen as unattainable for many of us, the UK being one example, a generation where a full-time job with a decent wage, good conditions and employment safety has become a thing of the past.
