I live in Northern Wyoming but I get to kayak in all the local likes. Lucky for me the closest lake has sea birds!! There are Seagulls, King Fishers, Pelicans and Cormorants!! I love Cormorants!! They are a primitive bird with heavy bones and remind me of Pterodactyls!!! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
There are also Geese, Cootes, Grebes which remind me of the Loch Ness Monster with their long necks, Ducks, Red Tailed Hawks and an occasional Osprey!!!
;) It just takes practice. I just keep messing around with it and more and more things emerge more by chance than purpose. (thank you... the one clip I took on the hike at the park in search of anything blooming to report... nothing yet. A late spring)
In the meantime I expect to post a road trip from your area.... or a bit north. :)
...was very close to picking up and moving a month ago but decided to endure at least one more urban heat island summer. The timing needs to be right for us.
I have one road trip where we went to Moab etc... but the one I plan to document and 'play with' was from North of Salt Lake. We followed hawks and osprey for directions. It took us into the Tetons and then Montana... and around in circles. It was wonderful. We are planning for a another road trip as it has been 10 years. I figure this will be motivation for both of us! (lots of scanning involved)
I don't know why my comment didn't post yesterday, but alas... I enjoy reading poetry. I think this is my 4th(?). I promise more as I really enjoy it! ~be well
Always nice to hear your interpretations. Good work on the partnership. There are a lot of them out there that you wonder why them, but you it seems fitting. Take care.
*blushing* (I was up all night with this... just got up from a nap I intend on returning to... I usually like being here to respond right when I post...)
I need to make a commentary ABOUT 2.0. I was going to vlog this AM but was tired from lack of sleep. Once I started this piece... well you know how it goes.
~Hope you are feeling better and things are clearing in your lungs... ~peace
"If I'm the leader we are all in trouble! ;)", I wonder then if I have missed the essential message of HeidiSaid. What I see is a person telling people to explore their own truths and a person who does that for herself. Have I missed something? "As fo my leader,
Look in your mirror.",is this not good advice if everyone looks in their own mirror. The mirror will be fogged by the submissions of national myths, the hierarchies we face (e.g. parent-child, teacher-student, employer-employee)but NI4d.
Wow that doesn't make me feel helpless at all. Nope. Not one bit. Ahh, what's the point of even writing this comment. It will just get lost in the ocean of YT anyway.
!!! That's quite funny actually.... I bet it's quite nice there today. Getting outside is a wonderful thing... I highly recommend it. (and a hug...) ;)
It was a nice day. That big round ball shaped thing in the sky felt pretty good. And the stripper at the club only charged me 2$ for a hug! All in all good day. :)
~Like so many things, be careful of illusions...;) (I do consider myself a rather strong and independent person... so I suppose this makes you extremely perceptive!) ~peace
Thanks Mike. I have been reading poetry for years, to myself mostly. Whenever I indulge in poetry I read it aloud... It really helps with the understanding - for me at least. ~peace
Not too artsy-fartsy, not even close to farsty. The only thing fartsy thus far I have encountered was Zack's attempt at being entertaining and funny while acting out his unconcious role of the rebel with out a cause and missing goals and visions. But he is trapped in it so I wont complain - ahh the joys of being young and reckless...
